Great stuff tonight.......played well within ourselves, done what was required, negotiated any hairy situations well at the back, good performances from everyone especially Henderson, Lallana, Allen, Can, Skrtel....Lovren decent again etc, Sturridge goal etc..

There was 10 or 11 good chances in that match. Most of which were in the 1st half. We really came out of the blocks flying & were so unlucky not to score inside 30 secs.

Very happy with the result... but I really would have liked us to go for more goals to start getting that dreaded goal difference up. Also thought Balotelli should've got a 20 min run - not sure this treatment hes getting is right really.

As long as he keeps defending ok, he'll do the job for me (until Sakho comes back).

Did play one nice (but unnecessary) cross-filed ball to Sterling in first half.
