I really want to win the cup as well, hope it's a strong team. Maybe give Gerrard and Balotelli some minutes after the hour mark.

      I'd go something like:

      Mignolet

      Toure
      Skrtel
      Sakho (if fit)

      Johnson
      Allen
      Gerrard (if fit)
      Enrique (!)

      Lallana
      Markovic

      Balotelli

7 changes there though . Well, 6 if you don't count reinstating Sakho.

That midfield has a bit of a cobbled together feel about it. I'd be worried about one of those disjointed performances.

Still, something like that but I'd leave Sturridge in and at least 2 from Henderson/Couthinho/Sterling. All 4 of them have had a break of some form recently so should be fine since we don't have a midweek game. Plus don't want to take any chances now this is our last chance of a trophy.

I think Rodgers will keep changes to a minimum - and I realise the team I've put forward is ****e - I'd just prefer to see us take this chance to make some changes, cos we won't get another chance all season. Not one.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

We've only got 11 games left, give or take a couple of cup's.

Well, counting the Blackburn one, we have three cups to go, excluding replays.

I'd like to see Markovic given a game behind the striker actually. Not so sure about the balance of the rest of the team.

The thing we need to watch for is probably the pace of King. I'd like to see us try to keep a settled backline. Organization rather than pace.

Think we will see Johnson or Toure in the back three though.

Markovic did seem decent when played centrally I seem to remember. All for that too. but who plays in his place at RWB?

The thing is that in this formation and with our current style of play a significant fraction of the squad could be selected there. Depending on fitness and who needs a rest: Sterling, Lallana, Johnson, Flanagan, Henderson, Can, Manquillo and even Gerrard could be options.

In the end I think we will probably look to play Balotelli and Sturridge up front and everything else will be a case of fitting around that. I tend to agree with your implicit assertion that Markovic is most likely to be RWB.

Play Sterling up front and keep Sturridge for the league.

Our strongest 11 please. I don't think our first-team players need or want rest for that matter; they're on a winning high. No changes unless they are truly shacked. We're going into one game per week afterwards anyway. Plenty of rest to be had.

Yep, lets maul these cunts. We look fitter than everyone we've played recently despite a mental schedule of Europa, Cup replays, 2 legged semi's etc. These nippers just wanna get on the pitch and dish out some beatings. Blackburn will be the latest victim.

we do have options down the right but there's a few in that list that I don't want to see play there as they will stifle our attack. You can draw your own conclusions as to who. .

I do think Balotelli deserves a start & if he's poor we have options on the bench.
