This is huge. People may mock the "race for top 4" but for both clubs' respective and immediate futures it is an absolutely massive game.

Personally I'd leave Sturridge out, get Sterling up top, Lallana in the hole with Coutinho and Markovic to wing back. Both Sterling and Lallana are being wasted at the minute in the wing-back positions.
Sturridge just doesn't look right and the team I've gone for would be a return to the set-up that beat City. Nice weapon to have up our sleeve coming off the bench too.

I hear you. I think we create very little. Its either a quality goal or a bit of luck like last night. Its a worry. The chance at the end for sturridge is where we have to be clinical. Who thought goal? Rooney is a clinical ******* at times. He goes on runs of goals and he's on one now. I hope the boys have some great goals in their lockers for sunday, history suggests we rarely score those type goals againgat utd. Riise and Gerrard are the only two I can remember. That's a by product of the formation, its too defensive IMO. I think Rodgers is yet to find the right balance between attack and defence.. When he switched to 4 at the back yesterday it made a massive difference to our attacking threat. Didn't Rodgers say in the post match that he switched to a diamond?
