Sturridge just doesn't look right and the team I've gone for would be a return to the set-up that beat City. Nice weapon to have up our sleeve coming off the bench too.

If we play anywhere near our fast, fluid and mobile best, they won't be able to handle us.
completely agree with all of that.

We always seem to raise our level for the big games. I'm confident we'll do it again. Hoping Sturridge hits form and kills them off.

A win here would be massive psychologically for both us and them. If we beat them to top Van Gaal is as good as gone IMO.

You decided which one you're going to do yet?

Last time we kicked off at 12.30 on a Sunday we battered a team from Manchester. More of the same please. Hope we get Clattenburg as ref too.

It's a 13.30 KO and Martin Atkinson is ref.

The chance at the end for sturridge is where we have to be clinical. Who thought goal? Rooney is a clinical ******* at times. He goes on runs of goals and he's on one now. I hope the boys have some great goals in their lockers for sunday, history suggests we rarely score those type goals againgat utd. Riise and Gerrard are the only two I can remember. Coutinho special please!
That's a by product of the formation, its too defensive IMO. I think Rodgers is yet to find the right balance between attack and defence.. When he switched to 4 at the back yesterday it made a massive difference to our attacking threat. Didn't Rodgers say in the post match that he switched to a diamond?

We didn't go to a 4 it was still 3 at the back.

That's what I thought, we changed how the midfield was set up but the back 3 stayed the same.

Didn't Rodgers say afterwards that we switched to a diamond? Sakho looked like he was playing left back at the end.

It was a diamond in front of the back 3

                            3-1-4-1-1

That's what I thought but when Glen Johnson came on it looked like he'd gone to left back, with Emre at RB, and Skrtel and Sakho as orthodox CBs.

                              No?
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

We may well have but Johnson came on in the 88th minute so more of a close the game out change.
