Well Gerrard let the team down big time. At 0-1 the game was there to go for but 10 v 11 makes it a huge uphill task.

The annoying thing is that I still don't think much of Man U and feel that we'll finish above them.

At least Gerrard is not in contention for the next three games. I think it's time to put Lucas back as first name on the team sheet. Since he's been injured, although we've generally been getting the results, the performance levels have dropped off markedly.

Lucas allows Henderson to play much further forward and gives the back four much more cover than any other player in the squad.

Oh, and isn't Atkinson a ****ing disgrace of a referee? Gave us **** all and every fifty-fifty decision went their way. Why wasn't Jones sent off for his shocking challenge on Henderson? In a very competitive field he must be the worst referee around

In reality united didnt play amazing. Mata was very efficient and good on the ball but for me Sterling, Moreno, Lallana were all ****in ****e.

It might be a good time to mix things up and go back to a flat back 4.
United didn't play amazing, just efficient and controlled as they have done most of the season.

United deserved the win, effectively kept us away from the chances other than the half chance to Sturridge that really was De Gea looking poor in positioning.

Apparently people all over the world are taking earthquake precautions as United fans come out from that rock they've been hiding under for the last 18 months.

I'd keep all of them. They were poor today but they are decent players. There are others that need selling and that don't add anything to the squad.

What the **** was Garrard playing at?

Right ****e house stuff from Skrtel at the end. Expect to see him get a three match ban for that.

No chance of getting into the top 4 now. Horrific season.

I'm not really sure who I am blaming yet but looking at the final outcome and seeing how close it was is a ludicrous way to look at it.

Yeah, Brendan can't be blamed for Gerrard getting sent off but he only needed to introduce Gerrard because we were set up so poorly in the first place. You think he makes that change after a 50-50 first half with the score still 0-0?

£100m of that money not starting.

                        Falcao as well.

                        Whats that? £115m
My point was that however much we hate them and think they're ****, they are a big spending side that before the game had more points than us and were in the top 4. We were way off the pace at the start of the game, but how many times in the last 18 months did we blow away another decent side in the first 25 minutes, these things swing either way and had Lallana taken his very presentable chance we'd have gone in at half time level.

Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue

Rightly so Gerrard comes to the camera and take responsibility. Roll on next season.

                                Four at the back -

                                Flanagan - Toure - Sakho - Moreno

                                Three in midfield -

                                Lucas - Henderson - Coutinho

                                Three up front -

                                Sterling - Sturridge - Markovic
                                Was muß, das muß.
