Palace were better in every department than us and that's what should worry us. Its too easy to blame our poor season on Daniel sturridges injuries and the loss of Suarez. The defence looks as bad as it has been since Rodgers got here and our midfield is full of lads who can play but not fight.

I just really feel that it is going to be hard to back rodgers in the transfer market if I was FSG......in reality, he has signed a lot of ****e, can't set up a team to defend, and this playing no strikers ****e again today - ****n stupid tactics.....

Will be very interesting but I would be very surprised if Brendan is here this time 12 months. What I fear though is that we will all be saying "should have got Klopp / Benitez while he was available in the summer" in about 7 months time...

Were not creating much. Even if we had a decent centre forward are we asking him to make his own chances because were not creating anything for him.

Wouldn't bank on us beating Stoke next week either!....That was woeful today from the team & Rodgers. Think it's Rodgers last game at Anfield too.

Wouldn't surprise me if FSG had enough of this mediocracy & bring in a coach geared to working with a DOF this summer.

Creating can only occur when the movement is there. I thought we created great chances (as did Palace). But Henderson aimed for the barn door and kicked his own arse twice. Raheem turned beautifully from Coutinho's great pass but tamely gave the keeper the ball.

The way Ibe, Can and Lallana strike the ball under moderate pressure is light years away from Raheem and Hendo. And better than Coutinho.

Cos Us, Spurs and Southampton are all trying to avoid the Europa. All trying to get beat next week and even if we manage to finish 7th we might still be in the Europa via the fair play league which will mean we'd have to play qualifiers too
