Does anyone here think the Stoke result will make any difference? I'm an optimistic guy but I just don't see us getting a result. Just so powder puff everywhere on the pitch.

I think if we won 3 or 4 nil with a great performance, it could be a result to save his job. Otherwise, surely he'll be sacked now? Failed on every front this season.

I don't think he'll get sacked whatever happens against Stoke. I think he should be but I don't think he will be.

It definitely needs someone at the club to stand up to Rodgers and say certain things aren't working and they need to bring someone in above him to bring new players in, leaving Brendan to coach and nothing else. Even if its just short term for a couple of years.

The real question is can Rodgers get better results as that will get people back on side.
Its not toxic yet, definitely not

There is definitely a large amount of disatisfaction and dare I say it theres an almost acceptance that we have passed the highwater of Brendans reign

Definitely would be premature to get rid this summer.
Midfield is a ****ing enormous problem as well for me

Theres so much work needs to be done for that side to even tread water next season nevermind push on to the next level

I had to go undecided, i mean he probably deserves another season just to see if he can right wrongs and make us better, however, if i was offered Klopp now, i would no longer be undecided.

Tbh, Klopp was my choice at the time we hired BR, so no surprise i'd have this view.

There is a similar poll over on ST and there are loads of regular match goers over there. 89% want him gone.

That's a massive amount of people if it's a true reflection of general fans.

                    Tough crowd.

I don't think people have a real problem with where we've finished up this season, I think most simply have a problem with the lack of quality in the side at the 3 year mark.

I said at the end of last season that I thought Rodgers worked well with a small squad. Last year we had about 14 players and everyone knew their role an what was expected of them, they knew each others game inside out and it worked, admittedly Suarez played a huge part in that, but IMO it has been something (else) that we haven't had for much of the season. When we have had a settled side we played better, all the messing around with positions formations and trying to accomodate players seems to me like we are trying too hard tactically and has messed things up. IMO we should go with a system that works and stick with it and if the system is working swap players out like for like when changes are needed.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Well in all his time here and all the money spent, how many players has he signed who are considered of the required standard both by himself and the fans? I'd say Coutinho and when fit, Sturridge. The rest either he doesn't rate, Sakho, or we don't rate, Allen.

The rest of the players who look title winning material were bought in by previous managers. And even with most of those there are huge question marks over them.
                        Forwards.......

I'd say there are around 15 fellas sat around me that I talk to, only 1 or 2 of them wants him to stay

Its not vehement and there is no vitriol in it, but there just seems a general acceptance that we havent progressed and a a belief going forward that Brendan wont turn it round

Last season we failed to get over the line because our reserve players were abysmal, Aspas, Alberto, Moses. Rodgers was given more freedom based on that I read, and what has happened? We've failed to make 4th because the signings were abysmal.

Anyone at this club associated with our first team squad, ever playing or squad building, will imo be lucky to still be in a job this summer.

I've mentioned it a few times as its just clicked on me recently, but none of the signings were made on the pull of CL football even though we keep hearing how difficult it is to bring top players in without CL football. Heads must roll
