I'm not watching but based on the one game I've seen so far I think I can say without fear of correction that Gomez is the best defender the world has ever seen

Strikers just need to time their runs better when the ball carrier approaches, Ibe got caught with the ball there and it looked like he'd held on to it too long, but when i looked at the players ahead of him on the edge of the box, they hadn't made runs into space to initiate the pass from Ibe, give the lad something to see so he clicks on and thinks ..pass now!
