I actually thought Ozil was v good in the 2nd half, was pulling the strings for them and getting on the ball a lot.

I'm actually happy with that. Fantastic defensive display, immense football in the first half, we were unlucky not to score but equally we kept them out.
The team is obviously not fully fit, if keep going like this it could be an interesting season. Oh and Sturridge yet to come back

I think not having Henderson and Lallana in the team made a world of difference, especially in the first half.

7 points from 9 having played Arsenal and Stoke away. Goods stuff.

3 points against West Ham are essential or the good work thus far is wasted. International break with 10 points from 12 with the scum up next.

Great game, good point. Defence superb second half, especially Skrtel and Gomez superb throughout. Lucas was great until he ran out of steam, Benteke has great feet, Coutinho magic again.

I'd have taken a point beforehand so happy with that on balance.

Great point really, Arsenal were under pressure to win so well done. First half excellent, Benteke has won me over quite simply, Gomez is unreal and good to see Lucas in there, Ibe was very poor.

Great performance, shame we didnt score first half, but that happens. Very disciplined 2nd half, which was grest to see.

More positive about this season after that, hopefully we wont wake up to news about lucas being loaned out tommorow..

3 clean sheets and a brilliant first half performance, thought that was a really good result on the whole.

But... Rossiter coming on for Lucas was utterly bizarre. I must have missed something there, because it looked like Lucas was doing exactly what we needed when on the back foot. Rossiter added nothing, looked lost and was bypassed by them far too easily.

Agreed, but I think Coutinho offers a much more direct threat. Ozil doesn't go past two or three men like Phil does, or shoot like he does either. I really think the £8.5m we paid for him could prove to be one of the biggest bargains of recent years.

Extremely unlucky not to score...... But....... Extremely lucky not to concede.

Overall, good team performance away from home against a top quality side. We weren't perfect, but more often than not you will have to ride your luck against the better sides. Course, had we conceded I'd probably be singing a different tune. Fine margins.
