Happy. (ish. good away point, but we could have nicked all 3.)

I think you'd have to say they must be. We don't look that soft touch of the past few seasons so far and we've had two tricky away games in Stoke and ArsenalOriginally posted by The_weatherman View PostHard to change anything at the back really. Wonder if the new coaches are having any effect at the back?

Defense was brilliant....
Milner on a free is already looking like the best signing of the summer...
I thought emre can was brilliant....
I thought Ibe didnt really get into the game. I think Origi and Ings must be starting to scratch their heads....
Rossiter was very good....fair play to the lad.
Pity moreno didnt ****in rob them at the end

Lucas had run himself into the ground. Rossiter came on to add some legs in the middle of the park. It was a calculated gamble from Rodgers that turned out to be a good call.Originally posted by Daniel 7 View Post3 clean sheets and a brilliant first half performance, thought that was a really good result on the whole.
But... Rossiter coming on for Lucas was utterly bizarre. I must have missed something there, because it looked like Lucas was doing exactly what we needed when on the back foot. Rossiter added nothing, looked lost and was bypassed by them far too easily.Cult Member. Nazi puncher.

The Mig was mostly excellent tonight, and has been great in all three games. Far cry from when he was dropped for Brad Jones.Originally posted by RichC View PostI think you'd have to say they must be. I'm not even sure what to think
Should have been 3 up at half time but in the 2nd half it looked like we tired and they really stepped it up, 0-0 from half time onwards is a very good result but we should have had something to hang onto really.
Officials were terrible, honestly I think they got near on every decision wrong that mattered both ways, it got so bad neither will complain I suppose.
I don't often do these but;
Mignolet - Was our answer to Cech in the 2nd half, a bit flappy from corners but great saves
Clyne - Awesome, love him already, just gets on with it. Kept Sanchez quiet.
Skrtel/Lovren - Have their moments but solid again today getting better with games.
Gomez - Ridiculously good for his age, hindered being right footed on the left at times.
Lucas - Was boss. We'll miss him in these games, our best player in the 2nd half til he went off
Can - Added authority, needs more game time.
Milner - I like him but I don't know why, has a touch of everything and great work rate
Firmino - Did okay, I'm not sure what kind of player he is yet, done well in the circumstances
Coutinho - A very very unlucky magician
Benteke - Looks beastly at times, gives us an outlet, needs to be more clinical though could have won us this.
Moreno - His role looks clear, pace merchant on the counter.
Ibe - Really struggling, Markovic should be given his place for now, I'd be considering a loan
Rossiter - Hard to do much, not sure why he came on really, ran about.Vive la France

He did seem very lethargic, it's early days for the lad though. I would have liked to have seen Origi or preferably Ings.Originally posted by Maxiedge View PostGreat game but they were their for the taking even second half but have to say Ibe was utterly atrocious when he came on. Didn't even look interested. Shocking, and I've touted him as our player of the season.Cult Member. Nazi puncher.
