Woohoo, fantastic result. Its 3 points for me!! 1 point for us and 2 home banker points dropped for Arsenal (our top 4 challengers). They will be hurting with this result. Its as good as a loss for them.

7 out of 9 after playing Stoke and Arsenal away, fark me, Rodgers needs to go! To McDonalds and buy us all a Happy Meal each.

Agreed. Fine when we play 2, but it'll not look pretty if we play three in the middle then have a tough European tie midweek followed by another prem game.

Hendo, Milner, Can, Allen. Enough? No.

Rossiter I'll be happy playing the odd game in the lesser games.

Put simply, if Lucas goes we have to replace him. I'd take Carvalho whilst other clubs are put off him as he's injured & unavailable for the first months. By the time the games kick in, he'd be ready.
      Forwards.......

Easily offside, great linesmanship. Your agenda is not fitting here, move along.

Impressive performance all told. New signings bar Firmino excelled tonight. Robby F just looked a bit off the pace to me. How good is Gomez?! He's the real deal.

Apparently the average age of the team on the pitch at the end was just under 22.

Not only shouldn't we sell Lucas (or loan him out ffs ), but we need to add another better defensive midfield on top of that. Clearly the way forward.

Ibe is suffering from all the "he's better than sterling" ****e we had in the summer so people have unrealistic expectations from him. He shouldn't be a starter yet though to be honest and I'd like to see Ings given minutes ahead of him right now. He has loads of time to come good.

Firmino looked knackered after 50 minutes. Thought Ibe was the right sub to bring on.

                      Agree with all of this.

Could have gone either way, but have to be happy with a deserved point.

Don't think he needs you to chip in.......

I was more critical of the way he was saying he didn't look interested. Not the fact he said he had a bad game. Of course he can have a bad game and if he does, well he gets paid to take criticism.

Take the point, thought we were brilliant first half and can't believe we didn't score,

Personally felt can, Milner, coutinho and benteke were excellent

Can drove the team on, benteke did everything asked of him but score, Milner worked his socks, coutinho first half was brilliant.

Also Lucas showed why we should never ever condsider letting him go, experienced pro with plenty to offer....in fact I'd even argue the midfield three of can't Lucas and Milner looked more balanced than when we've had hendo in there (granted though we've had Lallana and ibe in the pitch)

                          Defence was solid

Good effort, looked much better than I was expecting
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Great point. Really good game, should have been wrapped up in first half. Defence solid, Skrtel & Gomez where immense. Midfield work rate was ridiculous, insane work rate. That first half performance is exactly why Lucas should not be sold!! Ibe and Rossiter looked a bit lost to be honest but tough game to come into.

                              Very happy with the performance.
