happy with the point. We looked good the first half and defended well in the second. I think having the option of Benteke and the fact the ball stays up there a bit longer helps with defending. Better full backs (or better performances from full backs) helps too. Maybe the back room changes are helping to.

Benteke while not a torres or a suarez is better than I thought. Would like to see more threat on goal but hopefully that will come.

Oh I agree it was a good save. World class save I'd say. Benteke did everything he could but the way the commentators carried on he'd missed a sitter but it wasn't a penalty when Benteke was dragged down in the 2nd half. Very biased commentary that. 👎

Fantastic save by Cech, but I think the point is Benteke should've put it in a place where only a mutant could've saved it. He got it on target, but that's about all you can say about his effort. More in the corner or more height and it's an impossible save.

It's the acceleration they lack really and that small turning circle. They both have decent pace at top speed and the strength accentuates it. But I imagine they'd be fairly poor at shuttle runs.

I was more critical of the way he was saying he didn't look interested. Not the fact he said he had a bad game. Of course he can have a bad game and if he does, well he gets paid to take criticism.

Look I wasn't the only one having a go at Ibe. There were two times you could see quite clearly players having a go at him because he was on his heels.

Personally, I found it disappointing because I really do believe the right substitution could have sneaked us the win on the break.
