Real fans support the team. players and managers come and go.

Hero footballers or badge kissers are next years judas's.
managers are here for as long as they need to be until they have completed their project or city or spain get in touch.

    the only constant is LFC
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Great result but the subs were really overawed and didn't offer anything. I thought Ings would have been better than Ibe and having only Rossiter as MF backup is alarming.

Got to say I was very impressed with us in the first half as we looked solid defensively, good in the midfield and very dangerous on the attack.

benteke looks very good. Let's hope Sturridge is finally over his injuries and he can come back into the team.

The second half we were under a lot of pressure but we kept strong as a unit and again looked dangerous on the counter.

I hope we get another midfield player in before the transfer window closes.

Ibe really needs a season long loan

That's the best we have played since Suarez was here.

I thought first half we played well and should have been out of sight but for a combination of bad finishing / luck / good goalkeeping. Most of the side played well first half barring Can (gave ball away too much) & Firmino (game passed him by again). I also felt Benteke was still a little too isolated at times

At this present time thought Gomez and Milner are looking really really good buys

Second half Arsenal improved and they in turn could feel hard done by for not scoring a few

Strangely though I wasnt that nervy about our defending until Lucas went off and they brought Walcott & Chamberlain on as I thought it opened up more for them then

Good draw and general improvement in performance

Second half I think we looked a bit tired, particularly Firmino, Can & Lucas (probably understandably)

It's a good start. Three clean sheets, and two horrible aways out of the way, conceding 0 goals in those two away games....having conceded 10 (ten) in the corresponding two fixtures last season.

So far so good Brendan, although there's still loads of room for improvement, especially going forward.
I thought Rossiter did okay for a youngster in the circumstances. Ibe had some issues.

Thought Gomez was excellent when we were under the cosh.

In terms of going forward I thought the first half was a big step up. Got the ball in dangerous areas and Cech had to be in splendid for to stop a couple of goals. Still need more players to add goal threat to their game. Hopefully we are seeing Coutinho continue his improvement in that regard.

Things can and will turn very quickly if results go against him during the next month or two.
Dear oh dear, 3 games in 7 points from 9. I think he's doing just fine at the moment.

In terms of things can go wrong you could put this to any and every club in the league - if the team doesn't perform to the level expected then the manager could be removed.

Rodgers deserves credit for the start overall and last nights performance, this years buys are looking good and Lovren is doing well and his confidence is bound to get better. I'd have taken this start if offered, we put more pressure on Arsenal with this result, they have to get three points against Newcastle or else they go into the international break in broken spirits. There is a lot of room for improvement, which is good if Rodgers acts on it.

Don't agree that I have to like the manager in order to support him or the team though. He's not my cup of tea but he'll have my support, sure that means I turn on him quicker probably but you guys need someone to unite you in the defending of him
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I thought he should have gone at the end of last season if I'm honest.

that run in was one of the worst things I have seen as a Liverpool fan but I was ok with him staying. He has turned things around well and seems to have bought well.

I suppose all those fans at the game who sing his name must dislike him too.

If we win against West Ham and we sing his name then we must just be doing it because someone has a gun to our heads.
I think end of last season the majority of fans (local or not) wanted him gone

I think its finely split or finely balanced now and hes winning support back

As I said last week I came back from the match last week and listened to one of the LOCAL phone ins and 3 out of 4 callers I listened to wanted him gone (and they all sounded scouse) that was after 2 wins and 6 points out of 6

Bloody Everton supporters, jealous of our start!

Give Rodgers urge credit he deserves. It's been a very good start and lets hope it continues.

Sky doing an "alternative table" if our games had been officiated properly. Hahahahahaha you bitter cunts, **** off. Naturally, they didnt take in to account Utd's goal v Spurs shouldnt have stood either.

There does seem to be some of agenda here. How many goals stand that shouldn't in a season and some don't that should have. Always been the case.
