Firmino is struggling. A lot. West Ham seem to have a style suited to playing against possession, though there has been no excuse for the utter gashness displayed by defence and attack. Shocking ineptitude from the reds and the manager.

Switch to a diamond with Ings and benteke up front. Firmino in behind, take Can off purely because west ham will look to counter us and Lucas can defend that better than Can but either way works. Take Lovren off and move Gomes centre back and bring on Moreno to left back. Rodgers got the wrong tactics or team selection... or both? Need to speed up play, hopefully they'll tire chasing every ball without possession. Inge and Moreno should give us attacking impetus and more movement up front...Comment
