Rodgers needs a performance to go with a positive result. Drab wins and then getting a hammering from a top side will not get people off his back.

Put some teams to the sword in entertaining wins and people might look the other way when we get turned over by the top sides. Fans at Anfield need to start being entertained again.

You generally need an average of two points from three for top 4. We are on less than one in two at the moment. Two home wins and it's almost there.

But people are saying we're in crisis not because of results, but because of the way we've played. If we'd look we had a play I doubt there'd be half as much stick.

I disagree, he needs both. We've got some tough games coming up and scraping some wins and the losing them would have us exactly in the same position. Need to **** some sides to build confidence to believe we can actually score goals.

Not in the short term, first and foremost we need results with results performances will come. Football is a confidence sport and at the moment we look well short in that department and if you think we're going to suddenly turn up and stick in a 13/14 type performance you're going to be very disappointed.

Get a few wins under our belt and hopefully we'll see the performances improve.

I'm not saying I expect it. I'm saying he needs both. If he doesn't he'll be sacked by Xmas. Scraping wins against Norwich & Villa wont give us the confidence to beat the better sides.

We got results at the start of the season and then one loss v West Ham and everyone was on his back again. But my main point is that without starting to produce quality football we will not get results against the top sides which we would need to get top 4.

It's really easy to say just get the win and go from there. I don't think that's enough anymore. Liverpool fans want to see us twitting teams at Anfield and going to play tougher teams with a genuine chance of going for a win as opposed to turning up and waiting to lose.

If we can't comfortably beat Norwich & Villa at home do you really expect us to go into the following games and win? I don't.

We rode our look from the start of the season onwards and it finally ran out v West Ham & United. We can't be relying on luck anymore. We need to start making our own luck and putting teams on the back foot. Scraping wins will not give me even a tiny shred of confidence we will be back on track.

Of course we do, what I am saying is it takes confidence to be in the position to do that at the moment we're not there we need WINS,

It's really easy to say lets put on a top quality performance and we all want it but it's not that easy, the other teams have improved and as much as we might not to admit it being Liverpool does not give us a divine right to team teams apart and pick up 3 points and probably hasn't been the case for 30 odd years.

Football is about confidence and finding the right blend of players, currently we've not got that and expecting us to turn up win a game whilst battering them is part of the problem with our fan base these days.

From all the reports over the Summer and so far this season Rodgers know what he's got to do, if he doesn't do it he'll be gone.
