Yep, it's pointless complicating it, he's one of the best strikers in Europe when he's on it. Play him there.

If Sturridge is put in a 'Chelsea' formation then Rodgers needs to be sacked BEFORE kick off. Can Klopp be ready 2 minutes before the game starts?

Play him up top in a two, they can move around with fluidity like him and Suarez used to be. Don't want him playing wide like Ings had to cos as we saw he ended being more of a wing back then a wide forward.

As much as I want Sturridge to be on the pitch that would be a stupid move by Rodgers to start him when he's been out for several months. Knowing Sturridge's history with injuries you'd want to ease him back in. I don't even think he's played any reserve matches, yet we are set to throw him back in from the start if the rumours are to be believed.
