I've seen this kind of thing written and said all over the place, but I can't honestly see any kind of evidence to back it up. I'd argue to the contrary and say the players are with him because he is taking all the flak for how **** he's setting them up. hey don't have to take responsibility.

I'm done with all of them. They're not good, they're not awful - they're just ****ing bland boring middling average and beige. There is nothing special about this team from top to bottom, which seems like a reflection of the ownership and their decisions. Nobody inspires.

Ok you might not win all six of them, as sometimes things don't go your way etc, but only 2 of those are established PL sides, 2 are newly promoted, Sion finished 7th in the Swiss League last year and Carlisle are a league 2 side. If you look at the results and performances it's not a case of the games we didn't win were the odd ones out, the odd performance was the one we won against Villa. The other game we won (Bournemouth) we were lucky to do so.

As you say it's not even close to being good enough.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

          Terrible.

No excuses we were awful, make no mistake about it that was a very poor side that came to Anfield.. Our shape made no sense our tactics were again non-existant.

3 at the back with Rossiter playing 5 yards away from Can, no movement at all in the final 3rd, Lallana is only interested in back-peddling and taking extra touches.

Ibe.. Seriously, is a Championship player as things stand. Comparisons to Sterling were hilarious at the time and mind boggling now.

Nothing coming through talent wise either, is there? Rossiter is average at best, Ibe shows flashes but is generally poor.. This feels like a dumbing down of expectation and reality check

Sion have conceded 20 goals in their last five away games in the Europa League, losing on each occasion.

              It just bears repeating.

We all love Coutinho, but let's be honest - he's the worst "best player" we've ever had. The whole club reeks of mediocrity from top to bottom from FSG to Rodgers to the **** we have to put up with on the pitch.

**** the lot of this, its the worst I can remember
                OK it's the worst ever.

They may as well permanently padlock the gates at Anfield because we're never going to recover from this, may as well shut the whole club down it's that bad.

Nothing mate, like you say Rossiter did okay but at best he'll be Joe Allen. Probably turn out for Bolton in about 18 months I'd imagine, no disrespect to the lad either he tries and I'd love him to prove me wrong but he's limited.

Ibe is poor. Very poor at the moment, has potential but he hasn't beaten his man since last season he's raw without obvious ability. Playing the kid out of position is unfair too his confidence looks shot.

There's nothing special about Smalling, Blind as CB, Darmian, Schneiderlin (this season), Rooney, Memphis. And Schweinsteiger can be dominated with the right players and tactics like Gerrard was. But LvG has got a plan, however boring, and made them do a good job.

A similar proven manager can do a similar job with our bland players. I know I keep referring to Utd (yes I may be obsessed) but we are not that far off them. Someone is holding us back and our players certainly aren't worse than top 5 standard at worst. So why are they playing like bemused top 10 standard instead?

I don't think the players know exactly what Rodgers wants anymore. And where bemusement appears, a lack of support follows.

I'm not saying it won't get better! I'm saying this is a real nadir, its as **** as I can remember, and the owners can't have the credit for for "saving us from oblivion" forever - either understand what the club is and what it always has been, or **** off.

If they're staying, they need to address the mediocrity and make changes because this situation is nowhere near where Liverpool should be. It feels like a terminal decline, which is awful to endure.

Man Utd are ****ing ****e. That was obvious seeing them play us.

Top teams look at the standard of themselves and look to improve. They don't point to the poor displays of others and accept mediocrity. Because in the end the others improve and we are stuck pissing in the wind again looking for further excuses.

We will still be making excuses by the time Chelsea have over taken us by Xmas and are ten points clear of us.
                        Forwards.......

I had no idea what country Sion are from before the game, and I forgot our first half goal was disallowed, I thought we were keeping it tight at 2-1 til I glanced at the scoreboard after 75 mins. Passion
