That we can both agree on. Shame FSG appear to be the opposite. Heads should have rolled in the summer after last summer's transfer fiasco.

I saw the last 25 minutes as I was round a friends and he put it on against my wishes. We seemed OK. I like the look of rossiter, he didn't give it away until one over hit clipped ball forward. Likes a tackle too. Seemed a good work out overall. Nothing competition, now it's Sundays game where the focus turns to. Win that and the team he put out tonight was the right call.

This was a very very poor team though, our second string should have beat this lot. or Carlisle while you are at it.

Time to stop ****ing about and buying potential. This team is desperate for proven experienced heads, too many deers caught in the headlights when it matters. The mentally weakest Liverpool team I can remember.

The same goes when it comes to the manager, we need someone who's done something.

              Sorry, no strong personalities.
              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Yes we should. But failing to beat crap teams in cup competitions is something that has plagued us for years. We are still in both mind.

37,252 was the attendance tonight, okay its a midweek group game in the EL but nonetheless could easily be seen as a potent for the next home game if the Everton game is not a win. That match is against Soton on Oct 25th.

The football isn't as horrible as it was under Hodgson, but the money he's spent and the quality of the players at his disposal makes the situation much worse

Not sure he'll survive losing the next game

We played the game at times like an 8v8 keep ball game. There was no urgency in our play, we had absolutely no threat from wide positions, Joe Allen played one decent through ball penetrating pass from midfield - the rest of the time no one in our midfield had the quality to pick a decent pass. Too many times we were content to play the easy ball sideways or backwards. That team that started showed very little quality on the ball. They all looked average. There was no courage or bravery in possession of the ball and there was zero risk taking.

This is what Brendan Rodgers Swansea team looked like and today we have become Swansea.

This wasn't a reserve team today, a lot of those lads are members of our first team squad and its a joke that they can't beat sion. As for our defending, sion scored with their first real attack. Rodgers could put 100 defenders in our backline and we would still leak goals.

I was shocked at how many fans were leaving so early. I know its a week night etc.... But fans started pouring out, with 6/7 mins to go. The boos as the end were awful.

If this was supposed to give us some confidence for Sunday its done the complete opposite.

It's starting to feel as horrible because I'm starting to dislike him as much as I did Hodgson.

For the good of his reputation he should go immediately. If he leaves now time can be a healer and in the future we will all fondly remember the title challenge year. But the longer he stays now............

So glad I ****ed this off for a good night's sleep.

We've got a few early kick offs in October so I'll watch those but unless we win them all convincingly, this will be Rodgers' last month as the manager of Liverpool FC.

We have a title challenging squad if they had a manager that knew what to do with them so I really hope we do appoint someone of Klopp's or Ancelotti's quality and experience.

                            Positives ...

The young lad Jordan R , had a good game, at just 19 that bodes well.
Joe Allen looked pretty solid good to have him back in the Squad
Origi showed glimpses of a decent player, consistently holds the ball up well and showed some burst of pace at times.
                            Sahko rediscovered his Heading Ability
Its essentially a development game because I dont care what anybody says .. The Europa is a bonus

                            Negatives

Just a ****ing mess at times ...
Back 5 were all over the ****ing shop
Back 3 I am scratching my head ... was Kolo supposed to playing so deep
At times we played a 12412 ...with multiple players switching in and out of positions ... I mean what the actual ****
The mistakes for the goal .. its just game in game out now simple mistakes and we get immediately punished
Jordan Ibe continues to play badly .. not helped by him being played out of position of a position he is already out of position in

Another Meh performance .. cant help but think Bdog has lost his way here

Awful game to watch tbh and I'm no fan of playing 3 centre backs but perhaps with who we've got to choose from it makes some sense.

Big worry for me is that at present I'm not sure I can see this corner being turned and the side suddenly clicking together, there are too many areas that just seem so disjointed.

We do have a few positives insofar Sturridge has returned, Ings so far looks to be decent signing and on the whole Moreno looks like he might be able to offer something although probably more on the attacking side at the moment.

In all honesty though it's hard to see where Rodgers goes from here, the boos at the end are something you never want to hear from your own fans but for that to be happening all cannot be well.

So frustrating tbh as the squad is certainly better than its showing at present.
