If Rodgers wanted to play 3 at the back he should've signed a CB to play their in the summer. Obviously, we all know he only switched because his usual attempt at 433 had failed.

But this is the main reason Rodgers should be sacked. He has no clear plan for moving forwards. It's annoying,mbecause if he'd have gone with this at the start he could've avoided £32m on Benteke and signed proper players to play this formation.

Not much time first half to get on the ball & create. Players will tire second half and we will see more quality then. Liverpools game based on high pressure so hopefully it won't have too much impact on us.

Unlucky I'd say. On his weaker left foot & the ball hits Skrtel & falls nicely for Lukaku.

I didn't notice it hit Skrtel until I saw the replays at half time, but I still think it's poo. He has to clear the ball and that means putting it away from other players, by playing it so close to another player he is taking a risk, for me he either has to boot it high into the stand or put it behind for a corner.

I feel bad for Can, shouldn't be in the back line-up. He's a midfielder for ****s sake.

Clyne isn't a CB and Can isn't a RWB. You just solve one problem & create another.

i get your point, but as a wide CB clyne isnt there for his height, more for his strength [like one of those mini weightlifters ~ robokop?] and ability to cut out the player trying to come in from wide. he can cover that side of the pitch more than adequately, thats his main defensive strength.
it also means skrtel isnt feeling the need to come scurrying over and leaving gaps in the middle.

A cemetery is an interesting choice of venue to keep up with the match. To each their own though.

I thought we were playing ok until we conceded. The organisation isn't there though which means individual mistakes happen more regularly. We're capable of gifting goals like that at any time unfortunately. It's got to get your confidence.

It's a rubbish attempt at a clearance, not matter how Sky put all the blame on Moreno. Swinging a foot and clearing by belting the ball 6 inches across your 6yd box

It's not always that easy though is it. Especially on your non preferred foot where it can & often does go wrong. As I said, I think it's unlucky & I for one won't be hanging him out to dry for it.
