Maybe but for the second season running the Premier League is pants. Man City look to be the best around at the mo and even they've been turned over twice away from home recently.Originally posted by I, Ravel Morrison View PostI feel getting into CL is a bonus this season and instilling a clear pattern of play is the important objective. With Brendan, we couldn't see either happening. That was the problem.
Man United were comfortably taken care of by Arsenal who are as brittle as they've always been over the last decade or so and the less said about Chelsea the better
We don't have a bad squad at all so if it's Klopp I'm optimistic he can do good things from the get go.
Time to be positive again

That's earily accurate he's even got that old musty smell about himOriginally posted by Buzzo View Post

In my mind you are like a 72 year old grandma sat alone in her front parlour room. There is a clock chiming in the background, looking out your front window drinking tea from a bone china cup.
A cat walks by.
It is grey and raining outside.

And Rodgers' record doesn't compare to KloppsOriginally posted by Fredo View PostI don't know if I rate Klopp or not but his record doesn't compare to Ancelotti. Not even remotely close.
You were very vociferous last week and seemed to poo-poo the suggestion that more qualified managers could get more out of this squad than Rodgers could. Stating the the structure not the manager was to blameBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

And yet you bemoaned when many of us were cynical in regards to Brendan after he had been here 3 years!!!Originally posted by Fredo View PostI'm going to adopt the highly cynical stance. He's got to get us in the CL this season and instill a clear pattern of play fairly quickly. If not, it would have been pointless sacking Rodgers at this point in time.Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Who knows, Klopp might even get some of the players performing to a higher level, you know, coach them.
Sometimes it takes someone different to come along and say something in your ear, to motivate, and we may get a different result out of a player.
He looks like he will almost demand a response, and he looks like he will go mental if we play ****.
We need a bit of that.Modifying post.

Get used to it- it's Klopp
BBC
Talks between Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp's representatives have progressed well as the club look to replace manager Brendan Rodgers.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach is favourite to take over from the Northern Irishman, with ex-Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti a strong contender.
German Klopp, 48, is understood to be open to the idea of a move.
The club's owners intend to have a new manager in place for the Premier League trip to Tottenham on 17 October. What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins
Batman
F*** off!!!

cant see him putting up with any of those defensive slip ups we have been so easy to give away. We need the fear factor back and heopefully the thought of a Klopp bitch slap might wake a few players up . I think a Klopp cam in the early days would be great to watch!
