for me its not so much over winter, but over 2/3 seasons? is his football sustainable I think not, but how many top managers stay in a job for a 'sustainable' period

If he brings us success on the pitch, improved performances and a longer-term stability, then those 2-3 seasons would have been worth it.

As for sustaining his high-intensity style of football, we have plenty of bodies like Allen with whom we can run down anyway.
