Haha just reading the article it reminded me of how people describe how we played under ShanklyOriginally posted by Norbs View PostHe's going to make us like Wimbledon isn't he. The most English of English teams ever
We were ultra fit we pressed the ball and tried to play at 90 miles an hour
Let us see I suspect we will look nothing like WimbledonBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

I just love the little reaction to the offside goal question at 1:10. Postmatch interviews good and bad should be great stuff with this man.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostI know they've all probably been posted, but I love this

I'm really excited about the prospect of Klopp becoming our manager. The pressure is off for this season - we might do something special, but if we don't then at least this season can be viewed as building towards something. I hope the owners back Klopp in the transfer market and we have a really good go next season. I don't think we're too far away with the squad we have, we need three or four top quality players to compete with the big spenders. It's achievable, we're not that far away. We'd lost our heart with Rodgers, but I have faith in Klopp to get us playing with conviction and passion and fighting when we're up against it.

Well, considering we are one of the top 10 richest clubs in the world with a history to rival (or surpass) any of them, it probably shouldn't be too surprising. It's been unfortunate for us that there are four richer clubs in England, at the moment. However, a great coach is worth his weight in gold or even something more precious these days. I'm hopeful that Klopp's skill, experience and motivation will help to bridge the monetary gap and turn the team into something much more coherent than the one we have been seeing recently.Originally posted by marksared View PostWow, amazing, just goes to show that we are still one of the top clubs in World football when one of the top 10 managers in the World wants to come to us.

Cant wait to see what he can do this season, loads to play for but am fascinated to see what he can do with a pre season and his transfers, shame theres a tournament really but our English lads will be home early.
Feels like a major coup getting Klopp in.
