Start well in october and you never know....

I said when the fixtures came out "be within 10 points at xmas and you never know". Now with brendans tactics and the way the team were playing then i couldnt see us anywhere near it but if a new manager brings ****in excitement and perks up the players then stranger things have happened.

The fact that we have all of our big games at home in the second half of the season could be massive.

Also, the league is looking garbage again. Man city no matter how much they spend are a vincent kompany injury away from a crisis, chelsea are ****ed....they have got themselves into this sticky situation where mourinho needs wins now. So when they go away to other big teams, they cant sit on a 0-0 and hope they can nick one. Their defense is ****ed now as well. ManU thought they could sneak it but they sawast weekend their real level. Rooney should get better as the season continues but i think their strenght in depth isnt really there when you consider how much theyve spent. Arsenal for me could win the league - especially if they get knocked out of europe. But we all know they are capable of ****ing it up in winter as well....

It could be just like 13/14 all over!!!

He has his work cut out that much is for sure, we're nowhere near good enough as the Dortmund team he had and also as a group it's going to take time to get us right.

If he does come in which is looking likely, I can't see us challenging for honours any time soon.

I'll expect a decent fight of it next season. 4th minimum target next year just as it was for Rodgers. This season, hasn't got time to get the players fit enough or make them understand his philosophy. We will know more in a months time of what to expect.

I know where you're coming from but I think people are just excited again mate & you can't blame them after the past year & a bit.....

As long he brings back passion & purpose with a real push at fourth I'll be delighted for this season anyway

What has to be considered is the poor quality of the Premier League at the moment and thats what increases our chances of doing something extraordinary this season.

Add to that an exciting bunch of attacking players and a defence that under a new coach should can only improve.

Klopp will at the very least get the place buzzing and its the perfect injection before our next series of games.

We have played Arsenal, Mancs & Everton away already which are three of the toughest 6 fixtures of the season.

You just never know, but momentum is a wonderful thing.

It really won't be. If he signs he signs, no sweat whatsoever. It's football, not knowing if you have a job at the end of the week is worse. Even then I don't think I'd care too much.
