I honestly think Klopp can revive this team, we have played fast paced counter attacking before, this group of players isn't new to it. Right now I hope he can lift the spirits and clear the thinking of the players but I'm not going to write off the season. I don't think Klopp will write it off either. I will not call for head though if things don't go well this season, he's shown himself to succeed at two different clubs. If nothing is happening after three season, including this one, I think it's fair to ask questions.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

It's a tough ask to win it, but I want us to take it seriously, we need the experience IMO.Originally posted by muddym2002 View PostI think Klopp will prioritise the Europa league. Winning that and qualifying for champs league will be easier than finishing 4th* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I'd say in terms of squad rebuilding Rafa had it tougher when he came in. Klopp would, obviously, still need time and resources to build his team but the personnel we have at present isn't that far from what his ideal playing philosophy. It isn't a bad group; just a badly underperforming one.I wear my heart on my profile name.

I suspect there'll be a bounce in the team and the fans so I would expect the noise to come back shortly.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostReading about Klopp the main worry is he is going to be totally let down by the funereal atmosphere that typically seems to be the norm at Anfield on match days.

My only concern is the number of injury breakdowns we're going to see this season as a result of the extra hard training.
Mainly to established crocks like Sakho, Sturridge and Lucas. Maybe even Benteke, Henderson and Firmino. But I'm not worried as it will help weed out the boys from the men. Klopp will replace them with vastly improved players such as Origi, Ings and Texeira. One tit for another.

Not sure it's expectations of achievement with him Slinks, certainly not in the short term of this season but I think it's one of the first managerial appointments I can remember where everybody is on board with it and he's a genuinely nice guy and mad ******* too and we all love that part of it too. The fact he's a top manager and he's coming here generates excitement. For me personally if he gets us in the battle for CL this season I'd be well happy but if he didn't I'd understand why, he won't have much time to get his ideas across. Going into next season is when I'll be judging his work and expecting him to have us competitive.Originally posted by Slinky Skills View Post

Of course guys I am excited as well even though I don't know much about him lol but I think there's too much expectation of him already. He hasn't even been confirmed as the manager yet ha ha!
I hope he's a success of course but we need to be realistic with our expectations.

It would be ridiculous if people got on his back if we didn't manage top 4 this season, we have an opportunity but like you say it will take time for him to implement his ideas firstly and get his own players in over the next few windows.Vive la France

[QUOTE=redmike65;3185584]I keep seeing this put forward, I'd love to see the calculations to prove it.[/QUOTE
Klopp has experience in Europe. He might take time to get used to the frantic nature of prem. If we qualify the next set of games will be in Feb 2016 which gives the squad more time to gel and get used to his methods. Also games will be over 2 legs so you never know. And he will possibly sign some players in Jan
