Quite the contrarian aren't you? . Why bother trying to adopt any sort of stance before he's even joined. Pretty sure that you've been railing against anti Rodgers bias and preconceived ideas for a while now. How's that different?Originally posted by Fredo View PostI'm going to adopt the highly cynical stance. He's got to get us in the CL this season and instill a clear pattern of play fairly quickly. If not, it would have been pointless sacking Rodgers at this point in time.
Stop trolling and get behind whichever manager we land and enjoy the honeymoon period when anything might be possible.
As a wise man once said, you can't live a second without hope.

Are there any managers in the whole of world football now who have complete control over transfers?Originally posted by Fredo View Post
I don't think much will change with the current strategy. If Klopp manages to force the powers at be to ditch the transfer committee and give him ultimate control, then I might get on board a bit more. Until then, I'm going to be a cynically boring *******.

Imo the problem is not in having a committee structure, while we may have formalised it I suspect most clubs with a DOF, chief scout, chief exec etc pretty much have the same, the issue is either implementation or the way a particular manager, in this case Rodgers, interacts with it. Bringing in someone new like Klopp could easily change the way it functions just by default.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

This! He is absolutely made for us. And this team and City is made for him!
It's going to be great, it might not go perfectly straight away but I just want some fun again, he will bring it. This league is boring as ****, even that cunt Gaal is boring as **** and has brought with him quite possibly the dullest style of football in the leagues history. Jurgie is going to tear **** up! I can smell the fear from rival supporters already.

How about we start with one from everyone in the Anfield crowd and work up from there?Originally posted by I, Ravel Morrison View PostProbably the one question remaining at this juncture is, how many slaps would it take to turn Lovren into a proper player?I could not dig, I dared not rob:

Emre must have got word.
Emre Can believes Jurgen Klopp would be the perfect man to bring the glory days back to Liverpool.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss is the overwhelming favourite to be appointed as Brendan Rodgers’ successor and the Reds midfielder would welcome his arrival.
“Jurgen Klopp is certainly a great coach,” Can told German newspaper Die Welt.
“I think he has demonstrated in Dortmund that he can work at any team in the world.”

Does he really?

In my mind you are like a 72 year old grandma sat alone in her front parlour room. There is a clock chiming in the background, looking out your front window drinking tea from a bone china cup.
A cat walks by.
It is grey and raining outside.Modifying post.
