    Spurs (A): Build Up

So I've just read that the Club hope to have the new Manager in place in time for the away trip to WHL on the 17th October. I'd read on Twitter that Gary Mac & SO'D had been sacked but according to this report they are taking training until Brendan's replacement is in place.

What changes do you expect to see for the Spurs match? 3 at the back? Or a traditional 442 diamond?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

A bit keen, SB! I think there is going to be plenty of developments between now and kick off. So much so, I think it will be hard to call anything at the moment.

    DATE: Saturday, 17 October 2015
    KICK-OFF: 1245 BST
    TV: BT Sport

It's a tricky first fixture whoever takes us on - away too.

Thanks for the tidy up Mudds.

Not many managers employ the 3 CB's so that should mean a traditional back line of
Clyne , Skrtel, sakho & Moreno

        Midfield I'd like to see
        Can, Milner, Lucas & Lallana
With Ings & Studridge up front.

I'm happy to leave Coutinho on the bench for this as he's not don't anything of note so far & Lallana has chipped in with a few Europa goals so let's give him a start.

          Anytime, buddy.

If Klopp is incoming, I think we may well see a 4-2-3-1.

If we only start with one striker I'd play Ings based on current form true story

you'd surely have to play Sturridge if there is only one striker. The whole striker thing will be interesting if we do go for Klopp. If he was to play just one striker, then on paper Benteke is the best fit. However, for scoring goals then it has to be sturridge. But on form, it surely has to be Ings. Imagine how funny it would be if we see Origi up front on his own!!!

In reality, Rafa used to like playing one up top but when he first came to LFC he did play Baros and Cisse up front. And then sometimes Cisse on the right hand side. Although theoretically Coutinho, Lallana and Firmino could all play behind one striker, i don't think those 3 track back enough so i suspect we will see two strikers for a little while anyway.....

Spurs away is a tricky game to go into but to be honest it might actually suit the new manager purely because at least they will have a go at LFC. I think someone like WBA who would be happy for a 0-0 would be a pain in the arse.

Spurs away was also Rafa's first league game as manager!!!

I could see something like this if Klopp came.

                Mig
                Clyne Skrtel Sakho Moreno
                Can Lucas
                Milner/Ibe Coutinho Lallana
                Sturridge

Milner I think will be moved to the right for now. Can and Lucas could make an adequate pairing as the deep midfielders. But maybe he goes with Ings as well, it wouldn't be undeserved, I think Ings would totally fit his style.
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Studridge looked lethargic & dare I say uninterested last night in the main whereas Ings worked his bollox off & looks interested & is in good form.

Depends how much time he'd have with the players, coming in during the international break gives him little to work with, then its tough game after tough game.

I suspect he'd go with pace out wide.

                      -------------Mignolet
                      Clyne---Skrtel---Sakho---Moreno
                      --------Milner----Lucas
                      Ibe-------Coutinho--------Ings
                      ----------Sturridge

Not ideal but maybe the best he has to work with, I wouldn't be surprised to see him move Moreno to a LM position given our lack options. Markovic would suit his style of play, the rest of this season would be wrote off as transitional and the players getting used to his methods.

All that said.. IF its Klopp

Wish it was Chelsea next, we'd run them off the pitch under Jurgie as they stand there with gormless cunts who can barely even walk like Fabregas and "Branno".

Still, these are our whipping boys lately. Lets belt these cunts.
