I enjoyed that match even though it ended 0-0. All of our players were really trying and although it didn't always come off there always seemed to be someone in support. Mig made a couple of very good saves and we hit the post early on plus Can wasn't too far wide with his shot. Can must stay in midfield from now on

To play at that tempo for 90 minutes was always going to be a tough ask so it's no surprise to see our performance drop in places. Sakho at the back gets our game moving forward so much quicker. Was interesting to see how much more compact we looked and how we defended corners with eleven in the box and no out-ball.

Our lack of goal threat was no surprise, a draw is a fair result.

CBs done well......Mig won us the point...... Origi found it tough going, but always showed up......FBs not too impressive with ball (Clyne certainly), plus Milner and Cout offered little beyond the opening 10mins with the ball.
Will take it though. Some impressive work rate in the opening half hour.
          absolutely

I think that there were some promising signs, the way we played in the early part of the first half was what we've been missing, the pressing, the energy etc is what we have needed to do. Yes there were problems too but given than has only had a few days with the players and considering our injury listt that was a decent performance and good result
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

We've outrun Spurs today apparently. 116 kms vs 114 kms.

The work rate was fantastic, just need to add a bit composure when we've got the ball

That will come. Klopp will probably focus on defensive stability first.

Decent away performance against an in form Spurs. Centre backs and keeper were our best players. One of Can's better games in midfield - but we still lack real quality in the centre.
                          Another MASSIVE game

Pretty **** really other than the first 10 minutes or so, and if it wasn't for Migs, they could've scored a few. However, I'm not expecting to see any difference yet and with these injuries a clean sheet it a great positive.

Moreno got sloppy late on, but I thought Clyne was really good

Also thought Can had a good game, although tries to do too much at times. He looks a little confused in terms of what role he should be playing
Also holds on to the ball a little too long

Origi did ok, nothing more. Strugled with a lack of service at times

All in all, think Kloppo can be pleased with a tough away point
Not at all mate, I just like our CB pairing and others don't... no big deal just my opinion clean sheet, solid performances, happy days. Let them play together and we will improve. As regards the fullbacks it was pointed out, our narrow formation relied on our full backs pushing up. Whilst Moreno is better that way going forward, IMO Clyne is not good going forward and more of an old fashioned RB. He looked uncomfortable playing that high.

IMO with injuries, the two fullbacks were asked to push forward and I have never seen our fullbacks play that high, it meant the CB's in Skrtel & Sakho were dragged out wide a lot and they did great. Personally, I don't like to see CB's isolated out wide. I've been saying since last year that Skrtel & Sakho is our strongest pairing, two compliment each other & with them actually playing consistently together it'll be a good partnership. Others many disagree but performances in the past together seem to prove that.

I'm not saying it was Clyne's fault he was asked to play so high, but he lost the ball/got caught up high so many times. Each to their own but I thought he had a poor game. Agree with the bolded bit of Can, what is he? Does he even know? I like him and want him to do well but he needs to find an identity as a player so he can push on as a player. I said that I thought Klopp would be the making of him but sure that remains to be seen. He needs an identity.

As for as Origi, he got hardly any service and had to run the channels and drop deep. Thought he had a very good game considering the lack of service. Very easy for a striker to be anonymous in that sort of game but he wasn't.

Me saying Coutinho was poor, Origi done well, Milner has been poor for LFC, Can doesn't have a position were he excels, the fullbacks haven't been great & it was a good point....... is hardly anything most other people/posters haven't been saying? I don't really see the comment about me deliberately going against the trend of opinion as valid here to be honest mate.

It's only the Skrtel saga I differ on & I find it crazy the reaction of a few posters on here.
