Thanjk you.

For a few days of preparation, that was decent. Much more compact, and nice to see signs of pressing already.
It was good to see Klopp recognising that Spurs were exploiting space in the middle of the park, and switched it late on to deal with this. It was the first time I was also worried about Skrtel. Quite a few mistakes, but he was better in the second half.
It's going to be interesting to see how the team evolves over the next few months. As Klopp said, now he has his own footage of the game to work with, and see what was good, and what wasn't so good.
Thought that as a defensive unit we were hugely impressive, much more so than I expected. Couple of individual mistakes remain, but they will be apparent in the early stages. If they aren't cut out as we progress, I fully expect changes in the squad. Positive.
Attacking wise, think we looked to retain shape as a pressing unit more than we concentrated in the attack. We relied on a bit of flair as opposed to attacking team play today and it didn't happen. We don't move as one as we progressed up the pitch - again, you can't really expect it.
The work rate was fantastic, just need to add a bit composure when we've got the ball
I think that a lot of the problem is that we need to get used to the more compact way we were playing. At the pace of the game today you don't get so much of a chance to think, a lot of passes need to be instinctive (or more accurately use trained expectation of others movement).
The real thing we need is some cutting edge - only rarely were Spurs players forced out of position to deal with a player using numbers. A threat like Sturridge would have made a lot more space for other players.

Eight match day players missing always meant it was going to be a tough ask, but they played compact when without the ball, the energy levels were good certainly much better then we've seen under Rodgers for some time. Lallana and Klopp looks like a bromance in the making and that's no bad thing as he is a player most of us thought could suffer under the new regime.
Lallana did some good defensive work alright. He has ability and really should be chipping in with more goals and assists though. Looked out on his feet when taken off.
