No ideas in the final 3rd but defensively much better shape and we are starting to look like a side that can actually defend.

Origi looks out of his depth so far but he's been chucked in the deep end through necessity, hopefully we'll see Firmino and Benteke on to give us a bit more up front

I think the defence looks much better. I think we're going to have to put with a few low scoring games for a while until firstly the team gets better at defending as a team and secondly we switch the game better between defence and attack and then finally when we have the players available to finish the chances we create. Rodgers had it all wrong imo - putting it right is going to take a while. Definitely not discouraged.

I agree with this, it's easy to get discouraged but we have to look at it one game at a time and improve from the back.

It is annoying as hell to see the steady cluelessness the further forward we venture, players have no sense of space, no running, no understanding of each other's movement. Definitely a Rodgers legacy and it will take time to change that.

That said, we do need to start winning games as we can't keep drawing.

I hope we see Firmino and Benteke at some stage.

I'm sure they will be. Origi is not suited to the lone striker role & needs a partner up there with him. Not a fan of this system with our current crop of players. Would rather go the 442 route.

we look much better without the ball, but we haven't made progress yet with it. We need our injured players back badly.
