I think the main thing is that improvement can be seen despite the ****ty scrappy goal at the end we look a lot more solid and I actually trust our defenders to clear the ball now instead of conceding all the time.

We saw when Benteke came on that having a good striker will get us some goals, I think Klopp needs to be backed in January as we deffo need a couple of players.

Still think we are stepping in the right direction, some bits of Rodgers legacy been left behind, we will get there.
The times they are a changin'.

good to see that powerful goal from benteke. his general play in the opposition box is excellent, bossing their defenders and making them second best to almost every ball.
we need to get someone closer to him so we can capitalize on the balls he wins and the mistakes he forces from the oppo defenders.

too often much of the pressure on us is self inflicted. losing possession in the middle of the pitch for no real reason, coutinho especially.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Firmino and Benteke made a real difference to our play in the second half. It was also encouraging to see us starting to create opportunities in the second half, and we look more solid in defence.

All good and everything, but does anyone know if we won the running?

This is the bit I don't get, perhaps it's because we're adjusting to new patterns and we don't see the pass? Or it could be that we're scared of losing the ball (which we do anyway)?

Klopp interviewed there, we have no leaders. Once heads goes down there's nobody to take charge. Huge issue.

Pretty honest interview there from Jurgen.

If only he had of held at 12.985km he wouldn't have gone through Bertrand, or if he had of gone 12.995km he would have got ahead of Mane.

Our biggest problem in the last two games have been that Origi is ****. His as a loan striker at the moment is crippling our attacking play.

Better second half but still a lot of work to do.

Benteke and Firmino should start from now on.

Next game Bournemouth at home - we really have to get a few goals here and win otherwise the press and a number of fans will start to 'doubt' publicly.
                                Really?
