I think things aren't all bad, maybe we'll feel less pressure as well when we play Chelsea.

It's amazing how many people it seems expected us to be amazing over night. I'm seeing constant pleas for patience on Twitter. We really have an awful lot of bellends in our support if wehave to ask for a patience after a few weeks with one of the best managers around.

I've met supporters that were peeved off at the sacking of Rodgers and are not going to give Klopp any leeway We have some imbeciles following the club.

I'd question their sanity if they didn't think Rodgers had to go especially if they can't give a man like Klopp their full backing too.

It was mainly this one bloke but if there's one there's others I thought he was joking first and then lost my capability to speak, which was already hindered to due to alcohol consumption.

Think Klopp hinted at that at his PC yesterday. That expectations were playing on the players mind and partly due to the crowd at home matches. We've been really poor at Anfield for quite some time now.
              Are we winning?

Yep I keep saying it but I feel more confident going into any away game.

The good thing is we look like we have a defensive shape and the players know their roles and responsibility without the ball the attacking side of things will get better it'll just take a little time.

I think currently we have a higher chance of scoring goals with Benteke, if we adopt Moyes style tactics of abandoning all forms of attack except crossing. Play Milner and Moreno on the wings and tell them to ping crosses in through the match. I dont think most defenses in the PL will be able to handle Benteke in the air.
The squad is imbalanced in attack. We have no pace and all of our three creative midfielders Coutinho, lallana, and firmino are all number 10s. There isn't a single winger / wide player there who can help stretch defences or get in behind them.

Markovic would be playing imo and offering us something the team is lacking. We need more creative passing from midfield and we need more pace in attack. They are problems that he has inherited and is finding ways to deal with it. I wouldn't be surprised if we spent big money in January on a new wide player and a creative midfield player who can pass from deep. A goalie can wait until summer but Mignolet needs binning asap.

Even if Markovic comes back we still need more than one winger and a young Jordan ibe.

We are in a tough run of fixtures and Klopp knew that when he took over. Once this run is over it gets easier and we will start to see more of the new Liverpool. What were seeing already is remarkable given that he's totally changed the way we play in 3 games.

After 3 ****ing matches and were already looking a totally different team. Much more solid, quicker passing, more directness in our play, better off the ball work.

If Milner doesn't have a brainfart and goes after Bertrand we win that game.

                        The next fixtures are

                        Bournemouth (H)
                        Chelsea (A)
                        Rubin (A)
                        Palace (H)
                        City (A)
                        Bordeaux (H)
                        Swansea (H)

That brings us to December. Really tough run to come into for Klopp, Chelsea, Palace and City are really tough games, so it's not until late November things will look up a bit fixture wise.

Klopp will not, and should not be able to completely change the entire squad. He'll maybe get one reasonably big signing in Jan, but that's it

It's pointless people reaching for the razor based on what we've seen so far. In terms of style, Rodgers and Klopp couldn't be further apart, so it's going to take a whole before the team plays how he wants them to

I think that despite the results, there are many signs of improvement. It's fairly easy to see the differences, it's when we revert to type that sees Klopp screaming at players and results in fairly pedestrian play

My feeling is that when we get an understanding of the attacking patterns we wish to play and manager to have the same forward on the pitch for a couple of games we will really start to improve.

I'd actually be tempted to ask Klopp to try without January purchases. We have had far too much turnover in the squad lately. Obviously if there is either an injury emergency or a staggering opportunity in the market we have to move but otherwise I think there are more benefits in working with what we have.

The most dissapointing aspect is that, despite the flaws and disjointed play going forwards we win that game if the skipper doesn't give away a stupid, needless freekick. He didn't even need to go near him let alone try and tackle or whatever he was attempting. Infuriating and highlights the small margins.

The simple fact is that we have seen instant improvement under Klopp, and it is the sort of improvement that bodes well for the future.

He seems to be doing the exact same as when he took over at Dortmund. Solidity using the current players first, and then add the more offensive aspects over time/when transfer windows allow.

Much prefer to see the sort of grounded improvements that we are currently seeing, than a flurry of "manager bounce" results that paper over cracks and that see us come crashing down to earth with a bump when that honeymoon period wears off.

Klopp is being practical in his rebuild, and we need a slow and steady approach right now so that he can evaluate players and also so that the players can get used to going back to being a team that actually plays as a unit with purpose.

There are going to be a few bumps and stutters along the way as the kinks get ironed out, and supporters need to get used to that idea quick smart.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

A few weeks ago there was certain posters on here advocating keeping Brendan because nobody could do any better

Now those same posters are being ultra positive about Klopp

Personally what I have seen so far is what I expected. I thought he would squeeze a little more out of certain players, he would make us press, compete for second balls and have us in a better shape and tighter between the lines

In terms of attacking play we need to be quicker, much quicker. We are wanting too much time on the ball and when this is coupled with players who lack pace anyway it doubles the effect. The slower the players the quicker they have to release the ball

Anyway I'm not worried too much I've actually enjoyed the last few matches (or what I have seen of them). I like what Klopp is trying to implement, you can actually see the plan. Its also good to see a manager having a go at the players from the sidelines rather than sitting there writing a novel like Barbara Cartland

Again though the last few games have been proof positive for me of how badly Brendan bought. He not only bought too many attacking players which unbalanced the squad virtually all of them are the same type of players. Slow on the ball and like to play at a very slow tempo. The only player he has bought with pace is Moreno (a fullback)

It really is a damning indictment to look at that squad and realise we have spent £300 million during Brendans time with us

People bemoaned how Kenny spent his money but Brendans spending has been equally as bad if not worse
