Nearly shat myself in added time.

Bodgan has played two full games and done nothing wrong at all. Calm and commanding plus a good stopper.

The kids were mixed Teix was very good most of the time he was in the game, Branners tidy with Randall given a bit of a hard time, though he got better in the second half I think.

Allen was ugh, I really hope we see the back of him in the summer. Origi needs to get a goal but I think looks better running the channels as an inside forward rather than an out and out No 9.

Firmino is class, we knew that, First start was a good one.

We totally controlled that game .. as we have done for most games since Klopp has come in, looked defensively solid with players with very little game time and kids .. and the match thread was just a torrent of hes **** .. hes **** also .. that kid we signed .. hes **** ... **** me .. honestly .... its the Carling ****ing cup 4th round

Some right misery guts in here. New manager, finding his feet and discovering what his players are capable and they gave him a very good performance.

Well Bogdan was absolutely excellent. Some great saves, great on the set pieces and quick off the line. Clyne was quality on the left. Thought Firmino and Tex had good games, both accomplished on the ball. We looked so much more solid when Skrtel and Lucas came on, Lovren even looked better in that second half.

On the down side, Allen and Origi looked awful. Allen did improve in the latter stages when Lucas was on to be fair to him but he's just nowhere near good enough. Big step up for Randall and Brannagan, both looked a bit out of their depth IMO.

We create chances but our finishing is just awful. Anyways delighted to get the win, decent display.

That was cool. Some of the players have made a claim for a starting place, some need to get their **** together. Joe Allen is not as bad as he's been playing lately, but if he doesn't do something about his performances I don't think he should play for us again.

Thanks Chris. I thought he did well as I only watched the 2nd half after reading the 1st half slaughtering he got in the MT. Still negative comments of him in the 2nd half which I couldn't see much wring with his performance.

A win! Some promising signs but plenty of work ahead. Firmino looking better and better, Lucas is class and nice flashes from Ibe and Tex. thought Brannagan was the pick of the kids though. Less said about Origi the better.
