    Penalty takers

Mention of Gerrard and his penalties got me wondering who is the designated shooter from 12 paces now? Not sure I'd trust any of them to be honest except Lovren obviously.

I'd expect Balotelli to emerge from nowhere & take the ball off whoever had it.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

      Henderson
      Benteke
      Milner

I would guess that's the order unless Firmino takes them and would go ahead of Milner.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Will be Hendo and after his pitiful effort at Arsenal allbeit that somehow went in I'm dreading them.

        Should be Godre Can.

Aye, Henderson doesn't inspire me with confidence either.

Can is a good shout actually although I still think the others will take priority.

Benteke when he's on the pitch, presumably.

I remember in the early days of Gerrard thinking the same.

I would assume that Klopp will want to decide his own penalty taker, I would assume that Benteke will take them when on the pitch, I never really saw Henderson as a long term first choice penalty taker. Under Rafa we had Gerrard, Alonso and Kuyt who took them and you would be fairly happy for any of them to take pens regularly, at the moment we don't have that kind of depth.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Gerrard was awful for a while. Didn't he even say at one stage "that's me done for penalties" after missing a few in a row?

Hope Milner stays on penalty duty, even when Henderson is back. His pen against Bordeaux was excellent and he didn't look like missing yesterday either.

I would prefer milner over henderson for pens.
                      After milner, maybe benteke.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Milner's pen was a beauty, and given he scored one on Thursday in the bottom right, it showed he isn't adverse to mixing up his delivery. Nice one Jim
