Shoddy work Forester. If we win by 10 we could go 5th.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I reckon there will not be many changes, Lucas in for Allen and maybe Lallana for Milner if he's injured, Coutinho for Ibe. It's getting difficult choosing between Coutinho, Firmino, Ibe and Lallana.
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Take it as best/worst realistic positions!

Things could be different if Everton score by a margin of 6 too.

Right, looks like we are finally starting to build some momentum & it's always a good thing if you can win before an international break. Palace will be dangerous as they have that pace to break on us and a player in Cabaye who can find the runners.

I think in past seasons teams that play Thursdays tend to be really lethargic on the Sunday. No excuses as teams playing Wednesday / Saturday in the CL don't display similar traits. This shows to me it's as much about character & professionalism as it is about anything else. The top teams have it & put on a performance, the lesser teams don't & suffer.

So it goes without saying that I'll be interested to see what this version of LFC under Klopp produces. I'd gladly take the 3 points now & not care about anything else, but if I'm being greedy I would like to see LFC come out & demonstrate a high tempo performance right from the off.

I really do think it's time that this lot started showing they are good enough to put in good performances consistently. Anyhow, looking at the table it's easy to see where are problems lie. We have conceded 12 goals in 11 games, take away the consecutive defeats in the league v West Ham & Man Utd & it's 6 conceded in 9. It's not a massive issue.

It's the other column that's a concern. 12 goals in 11 games. Prior to Chelsea, that'd have been 9 goals in 10 games. We've had some difficult games but that's really not acceptable. We've floundered over the two games v Kazan, but those last two away displays against Chelsea & Kazan could be the start of something.

We totally dominated the last 2 games & you have to feel that with Firmino & Benteke joining the ranks if we display similar levels of dominance moving forwards we will start to carve teams open.
              Forwards.......

I think his comments were more along the lines of "should be" as opposed to "will". He said at the start of the season he saw this as a top 4 squad. I agree with him, this squad is good enough to finish top 4. The only thing preventing it is the lack of time with Klopp on the training field. Hopefully we can work around that.
                Forwards.......

The thursday-sunday thing may be down to teams like everton playing in the EL, and not having the squad depth needed.

We should have enough players to slowly rotate and rest those who need it, without disturbing the balance of the team.

Always a dodgy one playing Palace. I like pardew I think he is a good manager and the atmosphere place get at their ground is great as well as their travelling support. Hopefully our increased confidence can banish the ghost of gayle as I felt that has been looming over us ever since. I think that is the bonus of having a new manager, new start clean slate nothing has happened in the past let's go. Every time we played palace since I felt we had a handicapp.

Our full backs will be key I feel when playing palace, they'll need the stamina to cope with bolasie and Zaha and also support our attack and get thr ball into benteke. I think palace will sit back and hit on counter to stop our gengenpress . Their last 3 goals have been penalties so hopefully if we can get s goal before half time it will force them to come out and open the game up which will benefit us and allow us to stretch them.

Cause we're still basking in the glory of our wins over the Chavs & Kazan.
