It is not even a defeat that we can say we were unlucky to suffer.

Palace were just that bit better all over the park, and were certainly more "up" for it.

Palace was not the team we wanted to play today, they have a week off while we go to Russia, no matter if Klopp doesn't want to use it for an excuse but I think it's a factor.

We'll regroup and keep going, there were positives in that but Palace are mean on the counter so it was difficult game.

Was a 50-50 game & they got the luck. Think Mignolet had one save to make, not too many more by their keeper. Think we stood up very well to the physical test, but we had to do a bit more on the creative side.

We need more incisive play and players to think and act faster.

Well, disappointing obviously but we looked a bit leggy for a few bits of that and we are a work in progress up against a well drilled team. Couple of individual errors for the goal which are fixable. Hopefully Sakho isn't too bad.

He should. Very skillful player, but far too ponderous and slows us down too much. And he can't score for ****.
