He never had any clear chances.

If he times his jump better he scores that one he nodded over from five yards & there's a pull back where he almost air kicks the ball it was that bad a connection on the turn.

He should. Very skillful player, but far too ponderous and slows us down too much.

Luxury player......does actually do a lot of running, but the product of it all doesn't amount to what it should most of the time.

I thought their wingers on the counter played very well, albeit we did well to contain them for the most part.

I thought Lallana played really well tonight, perhaps he got a shout to duck or misheard, I can't think of a logical explanation for ducking when you have the chance to score.

It was his back heel that set up Countinho's goal.

Adam Lallana should be dropped. 4 yards out and he ducks a cross which should have made it 2-1. Useless.

He's clearly given a call from Benteke but regardless, he should be ignoring whatever anyone says and burying it. Nice flick for Phils goal and he also did an awesome bit of skill to give Benteke a great chance he should've buried.

Just looking at the table after the Villa-City game, we are currently in 9th but a win would put us up to 8th, just 4 points behind 4th and potentially 6 points behind the leaders (if Arsenal don't beat Spurs), the league is so tight at the moment

I thought he did well too, but when he's playing central he needs to be doing more tbh.

Sorry but the ammount of space they gave us in attack in the second half was unreal, any decent team would be able to get at least two - not us though, awful counter-attacks, communication and shooting. Can't blame the Europa for that, because it's not the first time.

He is good when he has space and time, he doesn't have enough in situations when it is tight imo.
