I think it's pretty simple - most of the sort of lads who are up for making a racket are priced out now. Loads more 'consumers' at Anfield over the last 5 years or so. Sit in the Cent or the Main Stand and you're made to feel very conspicuous and a bit of a dick for singing.

Not wrong there. It has happened to me before. I got some tickets for the upper cent a few years ago and took my dad to a game. We tried to get some songs going and the looks we got off people were unreal and at one point was told to be quite by some gimp. It was a totally alien experience for me and my dad as we've always sat on the kop.

Had this prick behind us moaning all game about how much he'd spent.

Lowe the ticket prices and let the younger lads get a chance to go the game.

Bottom line is this club isn't fit to have the YNWA song as its rallying cry. The fans at Anfield only back the club if it's winning. As soon as adversary rears its ugly head they go quiet and run off crying.

Tbh, if clubs were awarded points based on the performances of supporters we'd be in grave danger of relegation.
