The home supporters have been **** for a very long time. No shock our form at home is poor while they all sit there with their arms crossed looking sullen. The away fans are always brilliant. You just cant shut them up. Our real home games are away.

Back in the 70's and 80's we had some great game atmospheres but, we had very very quiet games too and more frequently than I wound like to admit!
When the Kop was in full voice it was loud and you took notice but we had 22,000 people on one terrace behind the goal....... More capacity than some stadia .......... But even then I used to get frustrated with how quiet we could be as well... The crowd feeds and always has fed off the team performance..... I regularly used to stand on the Kop chanting "part time supporters" to the people in the main stand and what was then the Kemlyn road stand as they started to leave 10 mins before full time .......
And although there were lots of locals on the Kop, there were loads of supporters (including me) who fed in from all over Lancashire and beyond. I used to be amazed to see how many coaches and where they were from parked down on other side of Stanley Park .....
I have not been to Anfield for over 25 years but I am reading similar frustrations I had back then........ And we were winning the league back then

That should seriously happen again. Sadly its a bit more widespread now. Even though I watched us from the early 80s onwards, I dont recall too much of the crowd. Mind you it was on a tv since I'm all the way over in Australia. Those clowns that leave early have no idea how lucky they are to even be there.

I agree but the point is...... It is not new....... It has been happening for 35+ years .....

fans have always left early its nothing new, when my cousin took me the odd game in the late 70's early 80's in the annie rd,we would leave with about 5mins left.if you can find the video i posted on here somewhere filmed from i think late 70's outside the ground kop end you can see some fans leaving the ground and its while the match is still on.

Frustrating game and disappointing result. We were the better side and controlled most of the game. However, only 4 shots on target was poor (BBC stats gave us - 64% possession, 22 shots, 4 shots on target). We lack a real threat in the opposition box. Our set-piece play is shockingly ****!

We face a real struggle for top 4 this season (felt this before today's game). I think 6th or 7th place is more realistic. However, I am encouraged by our progress under Klopp - small steps but I think we will be top four next season. I also wouldn't be surprised to see us win a cup or two this season (the Europa League would be nice).
                        Another MASSIVE game

Too much dallying on the ball when it a good position to shoot. We saw against Chelsea what can happen with a good deflection!

Anfield is ****ed!!! and there are loads of reasons but the club won`t look at them as they are the cause of most of them and while the ground is full why would they??
As shaggy said for any kid to go the match you are talking best part of a ton and that`s if you can actually get one!!
An example of this was last years champions league loads "qualified" for Ludogrets and then got ****ed off for Madrid and then amazingly managed to "qualify" again for Basle at home and there was no problem for the Europa
I know it may sound like bollocks but the club is in a real danger of losing the youngsters to the blue****e as I know fella`s who`s kids have wanted to go the match and when they have been told they can`t get a ticket have said take me to Everton then where a ton can get you a season ticket never mind 1 match ticket
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

Great game of football... Our fans are a ****ing embarrassment at times and its all too easy to blame the out of towners
Honestly Jurgen Klopp is in charge . your team is 1 goal down and you are attacking the Kop end and you ****ing off early to beat traffic ... seriously those cunts should be banned from the ground

                                Happy with Klopps attitude
Happy with some of that performance considering the schedule not just this week but over the last 4 weeks

Stevie G returns ...we lose ... just saying

No ideal not the end of the world important to bounce back
