Man City v Liverpool match thread

Roberto Firmino leads the Liverpool attack at Manchester City this evening as Daniel Sturridge returns as a substitute for Jürgen Klopp's side.

The summer signing is named from the start at the Etihad Stadium, while Dejan Lovren lines up in central defence and James Milner comes back to captain the team.

Sturridge is fit enough to be named on the bench for the Reds at the home of his former club.

Liverpool team: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Lucas, Can, Milner, Lallana, Coutinho, Firmino.

Substitutes: Bogdan, Toure, Randall, Allen, Ibe, Sturridge, Benteke.

Ibe, Benteke and Sturridge to ejaculate all over Man City's defence in the second half.

Not much pace in that forward line.

Or in the team in general barring the full backs.

Kompany out is a big blown for them. Benteke to wreak havoc in the second half!

If Liverpool are still in the game after an hour there is a chance as Aguero won't finish the game but it could be 3-0 by then

Some bench we have these days!

Just wait till Reus is sitting there.

Firmino up front. Not really a fan of this.

                        Wonder who'll clatter Sterling first.

Just checking the league table. If we don't start picking up wins now, we will be in trouble. It's been a steady decline since the FA cup game last year.
