i dislike stats cos they never tell the whole story, but it would be interesting to see how many tackles and interceptions we put made in the opposition half.

in the first half especially it just seemed like whenever city got the ball we were all over the player in possession like a swarm of wasps.

It helps that at our best, we were already doing this under Rodgers. Probably made Klopp's job easier. We do press with more consistency though, with more emphasis on defensive positioning than under Rodgers.

Best performance since Arsenal at home 5-1. Can't really pick out one player but having is watched it back a second time Lallana, Skrtel and Lucas were superb. Can't fault a single player, even Ibe played well when he came on. Absolutely buzzing and can't listen to enough podcasts. Seriously think this is our best squad in years. By the way, the block by Skrtel and the tackle Lucas made in our box at the start of the move for the third. Brilliant by both. And Firmino is right there setting Milner free, before ending up tapping the ball home. Can't get enough of that goal.

We were doing it superbly with Rodgers during the 13/14 season but then stopped last season for some unfathomable reason. Losing Suarez didn't help but to totally abandon the pressing game was bizarre & one of the reasons BR failed

Aye, people put it down to the loss of Suarez too saying things like his own attitude brought that kind of fight out in the other players. Klopp has proved those remaining players are more than capable of doing it too which makes why we stopped doing it all the more baffling.

Haha! God no, but Jurgod will have us scoring 3s, 4s and 5s in every game so we should be able to carry his assists for the opposition. Then he can be binned in the summer!
