    carra and neville.

this makes things really easy for opposition teams to analyse our game and set up better to counter it.

I know what you mean and it could potentially be an issue. But if Gary Neville can find flaws so easily then maybe Klopp knew that pressing like that was the right approach for that particular game in as much that he thought City wouldn't switch quickly enough. Perhaps he might tailor different aspects of it to cater for different opponents/styles? I don't know - but I think Klopp is much smarter than Neville. Plus of course we haven't perfected it yet...maybe gaps like Neville highlights won't be evident once The Normal One © fine tunes it.

I wonder if Klopp will stick to the forward line of Firmino, Lallana and Coutinho that worked so well against City?

Then he can bring on Benteke and/or Sturridge in the second half depending on the match situation

I love Kolo, he genuinely looks happy to be alive. No wonder we kept him on!

I'm not that worried about this, I think Neville just found some instances where City could have used their wide men but I do feel that our game would cope with teams playing wide against us, pretty sure Klopp has seen that before. What was evident that our pressing made them indecisive, which is a good thing.
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

It's Rafa and the tablecloth again. You can't cover every area of the pitch. In this case, if we let them have it wide what are they going to do? They're not a team that likes to lump crosses into the middle, and our fast pressing means we close the space for them to play through balls or to dribble into. Yes, it might have been better for them to build from wide areas, but if they had done so they would have left other areas for us to expose on the counter.

I think this style is ideal against most teams these days who try to play passing football. When we play against teams that are more direct then we need to make sure we're winning second balls, which is apparently another area of our play that Klopp has focused on.
