Sturridge and benteke will come in to the team against the likes of Swansea at home. With firmino and Coutinho behind them then I can see us starting to destroy teams at will. Loom at our fixtures...I actually think that Brendan could end up managing a title winning team after all....

If we can make hay in our next 6 or 7 league games, then we can get back into the mix. If we get back into the mix by New Year's Day, then if you look at everyone's run in you will see that lfc have all of the hard games out of the way.

    It's ****in on.

Lovren will thrive under Klopp. I think he showed yesterday how good he can be. Very commanding and composed when he needed to. Had a nightmare under Rodgers but I always knew he was way better than that.
      Are we winning?

Going on that basis it would be Gareth Bale who scored an own goal for us when we played Tottenham once.

Yup then Bale is the most expensive!

I'd temper that optimism by reminding you we lost to Palace at home in the previous match. This game shows us the potential we have, early days, but demolishing the most expensive team in the league away, is some performance. We need to learn how to dominate and take on teams who are more likely to sit back against us - but if we play with that intensity and intelligence then we should be challenging for top 4.

Klopp seems to be getting a lot out of players who previously looked confused and lost. Lucas, Ibe, Lallana, Milner, Can, Moreno all look better players than they did 2 months ago. Playing them in their regular positions is helping, and then giving them a clear tactical plan they can all understand and execute. Throw in Henderson, who seems perfect for this tactics, and Sturridge and a few of Klopps own players and the sky is the limit.

The squad are all clearly fighting to earn Klopp hugs

I think we dominated at times against Palace, we just lost concentration at times.

I think tactically we were good.

We were, and we did play quite well - we still lost though!

Should have won it but we were wasteful, hopefully with the more time Klopp gets the better we'll get at finishing off sides like Palace or Swansea

Fantastic performance and result, lets hope we can keep it up and put some kind of run together. We need to sort our home form out, because that has been poor
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

be interesting to see how and if Klopp will find a way to accommodate Sturridge/Benteke into his starting line ups once he has bought his own players....the movement and understanding between the 2 brazillians is fantastic, although couthino and sturridge also had this understanding a few season ago.But good options having Sturridge/Benteke on the bench, only saw brief highlights of the game and still weakness is in defence but this will change over time,Klopps methods and transfer windows.

Because he was on the pitch.

Why sktrel didn't just launch it I will never know. He wasn't really under much pressure, just gave it straight back.

I was half expecting that kind of performance against Palace though tbh as it came after a long trip in the Europa..... Hopefully it'll prove to be a blip & yesterday will become the norm for us

Fantastic result & a huge confidence booster
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

A word of credit for the officials, I thought all three were great. After every goal I was waiting for the whistle to bring play back. But it never came. I've grown used to goals being scratched off incorrectly specially for marginal calls. I wasn't sure whether to celebrate our goals or the officials at times.

Moments that made me laugh in the game were Klopp giving Ibe the benefit of his semi from behind waiting to come on and Lallana coming off just giving up and going into a full father child hug with Klopp's midriff knowing that his request for personal space will not be acknowledged here.

I don't think we need to worry much. Neither Sturridge or Benteke will last long with the amount of pressing they will be expected to do. Both get injured far too often without doing much running.

Does anyone know why the **** big Chris slowed down when through on goal? Did he think he was offside or something like that?

                                Should have buried that one.
