I agree.

Personally I don't think we'll do anything major in January unless an opportunity to sign a summer target comes up and we feel its best to get it done early.

We need cover at full back, Flanagan is returning but we're really pushing Clyne and Moreno and if one breaks down we're ****ed. Enrique is done we're probably just looking for a solution because I doubt we'd get a penny for him at this stage.

Regarding CB;

We have 3 options, Toure is finished at the top level and Gomez is out for the rest of the season and even then he's completely untested in that role.

Lovren is in my eyes basically on a trial period with Klopp and I think he's started fairly well but will probably have the rest of the season to prove his worth.

Skrtel is 30 now but I think we'll keep hold of him.

Sakho, I've spoken about, brilliant but injuries are a problem.

In an ideal world (I think for most of us) Skrtel steps into the senior/experienced position once Toure leaves, Lovren is moved on for a fee, and Illori and Gomez step up as squad players, pushing for a starting place even.

We get players who fit our profile better, at least on paper, while freeing up our transfer kitty to focus on other areas like fullback and midfield.

He didn't know where the defender was I think, I don't think he realised how much space he had. He stopped to feel for the contact and know where Mangala was. Even after doing that though he should've done better with the finish.

The defender then helped him by bumping him and the ball forwards, but instead of taking advantage of the head start and shooting he dithered and went too wide.. He worries me.

Second time i've watched that, and again the thing that stands out is there's more football information/instruction in there than in a whole season of Brendan's post match waffles.

Must be the same for the players.
