That was one of the stranger reffing displays I've ever seen. I dont think he had a clue what he was doing! Milner getting a foul against him for the other bloke injuring himself said it all really.

Haven't seen the post match presser but I could believe that Klopp wouldn't play him (but for lack of options) now he's seen him a bit close up. Not his type.

Not really, they asked whether it was a big night for Benteke and he just responded by saying it was a big night for the whole team.

With Coutinho out we lost that creative spark and were a bit too direct - and obvious - in our approach play. Still, through to the knock-out stages with a game to spare after a questionable start to the campaign is good news.

I also think our lack of pace was very visible with only Ibe and Moreno able to run the 100 metres in under three minutes.

Find it a bit odd Mig is penalised for holding the ball too long and then only 1 minute added to account for that incident and 3 goals...

But then it was even more off how many times the ref changed a decision. And even more baffling to overrule on the corner from the 27th official on the byline.

Referee was terrible tonight (although i haven't seen replied as i was there)
Haven't seen a worse ref in a while, any touch was a foul.

I thought Milner had one of his better games tonight, Allen was good off the ball and rubbish on it. Him and Lovren have a bit of the Rogers risky balls at the back in them still.

Bordeaux fans where in good spirits so credit to them, there was a few of them sitting by me in Anfield road who were pretty pleasant to talk to.
