Yep, was worried about qualifying 2 games ago now safely through. Reserves should be able to get a draw out there anyway but like you say, not arsed, we will destroy anyone who gets in our way whether it's Napoli, Dortmund or some bum team.

I'm not bothered about the performance last night. As Klopp said in his pre-match presser, this team is not very experienced in handling domestic and European competition together. We had to win to seal qualification with a game to spare, and we did that.

This is one of the things that annoyed me previously, Brendan didn't seem to take the competition seriously so the players, and himself, didn't really gain any meaningful experience. The players need the experience to grow and get better and learn how to deal with two games a week etc.

Good result but disappointing performance - I was really hoping to see a continuation with the progression of Klopps style of football.

Firmino looked a shadow of the player we saw last weekend - passing was off and got caught in possession way too often.

Ibe looked dangerous at times with his direct style, if he improve his decision making and final ball I think he can go on to be an important player for us this season. Have to remember he's only 19!

Benteke is great when he has to react quickly, seems to struggle when he has more time! You can't argue with his shooting ability though - bang, have it!

Disappointed in Allen, don't think he took this opportunity - didn't do too much wrong but with Bordeaux being so poor he really could have influenced the middle of the park a lot more than he did.

Mignolet - didn't have much to do apart from remind us all what a total fanny he is.

I fell asleep during the last 20 minutes. From what I saw during the previous 70 Benteke was threatening despite Owen's constant criticism about the runs he was or wasn't making, Lovren seems to be making further improvements and Firmino looked like he thought he was still playing for Brendan.

As rudedog said, what a shot Benteke has on him. We all want movement, running the channels and stretching play, but having someone who has the natural calling to **** it into the net at every opportunity is great.

(you're not yet fully right Pablo. It's early doors but a man has the the right to be excited but reserve judgement)

Taped it and watched after the kids had their dose of IACGMOOH so I think it was about midnight. Although from what I did see a half nine bed time would have been almost preferable.
