That was a big win, but not a great performance, but with results going our way we needed to win, we are now only 4 points behind Arsenal in 4th and 6 points from the top, if we can get our home form sorted with the difficult run of away fixtures we have had we could get ourselves up there.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Really happy with our progress and being able to win ugly too, you get those games. I thought apart from the first 20 or so , we looked fairly tired. Firmino has looked exhausted the last 2 games. When you consider the players that were out & the players that are nowhere near match fit.... that's 5 first team players to come back in!!! That's amazing.

We've been so unlucky with injuries but we have done great to be where we are. Once we get our full strength team back, we'll be a nightmare to play against. Average performance but great 3 points.

Hard earned win today which takes us only 4 points off 4th. Bat Southampton on Wednesday and we have a semi final to look forward to. It's shaping up to be a good second half of the season.

Yet only a few weeks ago people were commenting on coutinho and benteke showing good signs of being on the same wavelength.

I think Firmino is the one who has been a bit slow at times, in his decision making. Adapting to that split second faster pace of the premier league no doubt.

Benteke scores goals, overall I think he's done well so far. There are obviously many different ways to play the game and I think sometimes what he has given the team has been exactly what is needed, someone who will hold the ball up well and not be bullied off it by big centre halves.

Other times he has been a little clumsy/careless but I'm not at all complaining. Last year we had strikers who just couldn't score at all, so yes I understand peoples frustration/questioning of how he contributes to build-up play, but he's a big improvement.

First off excellent to get the 3 points.

I know its early days, but I'm not seeing a lot of difference in our home games under klopp than what played out under Rodgers. The high intensity pressing doesn't even appear very often. I wonder how he will get us playing at home after say 3 months. It's hard to switch from being a dynamic counter attacking team away from home one week to a full out attack beast at home the next. Something has to give. I think weight of expectation on the players at home is hampering some of them. Once we get a head of steam going, hopefully confidence will kick in.

Good to see Henderson and Sturridge back. The pair of injured cunts.
