Very poor and lucky to get a draw as we never created anything of note. I'll take the 3 points though but I expect us to improve drastically if we can keep Coutinho & Sturridge fit for the remainder of the season.

Three points. Clean sheet. Hendo and Sturridge back. Six points off top, four off fourth. Had worse evenings.
Obvious that our attacking patterns when we're dominating possession need some work. I assume that's a matter of training. The first priorities were always pressing and getting the defence sorted, which we've done. Next step is breaking down buses. We'll get plenty of practice. Part of it is personnel, too, since with a fit Coutinho or Sturridge we probably find a way through in those first 20.
Thought Can was encouraging as the holding mid.

I'm happy we're getting the knack of winning. Again, didn't look great but we were missing some key players and getting the results like these are very important.
Need to have more shots on target and clear cut chances but things are promising.
Will be good when Sakho is back, Lovren has been okay but still appears to be a ticking time bomb.

I can see a midfield trio of Lucas, Can and Henderson being the platform to a great second half of the season. We missed Coutinho's intricate play and a wee touch of pace, but three points is three points. It does raise question marks, for me, as to Benteke's suitability to Klopp's future plans, but I hope these niggles are unfounded. Good performances across the back four.
I think some proper width and a threat from the flanks to stretch the game when the opposition are set up well would certainly be welcomed in the January transfer window.

I think Benteke's minutes will be restricted once we get a regular striker up top.Originally posted by Muddled View PostI can see a midfield trio of Lucas, Can and Henderson being the platform to a great second half of the season.
