Liverpool v WBA - Build Up Thread

Sunday 16:00 - Not on TV.

LOL, no build up thread for this game and its Friday night.

So a vital-ish must win home game against Pulis. No Sturridge and Coutinho clearly not ready from Thursday's cameo.

    God help us.
    One tit for another.

Defo a must win. Wary about this one. Home game and against average opposition... not a good thing for us this season. Coutinho & Hendo back is huge but they are way off match fit.

West Brom don't necessarily sit back so it's not as bad for us.

Every game is a must win, that's how you climb the table!

You're kidding right? They only attack when they need a goal, and usually they do that well. But on the whole even Roy Hodgson would have worked out how to play Liverpool. Two buses and a set piece goal. Bob's your uncle.

Maybe I watch too many highlights and it's skewed my perception?

the dirty cheating rotten *******s park the buss and lure us forward, then just when we have even been suckered into getting skrtel to go 40 yards from the goal...

...then WHAM, long ball to some gangly legged afro-caribbean stereotype to leg after it and suddenly we are a goal down.

so now they sit back and defend their lead. we push on, seem to be bullying them and their defence is performing las ditch heroics, goalie having a worldie, then guess what happens again... 2-0.

            dirty cheating ****ing *******s
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Let's hope Martin has worked on his positional aspect of his game over the last few days.

Sakho must be due back soon isn't he? Prefer Skirtel with Sakho than Lovren.
              Go **** yourself

It would be slightly unfair dropping either of them on recent form but rather amazingly Lovren probably deserves his place ahead of Marty at the minute.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

From dreaming of winning the league to possibly being way off the pace for fourth, anything can happen in just two league games. What we need is two good victories in the league and we can all go back to dreaming of challenging for the title again
                  Forwards.......

This will be interesting, they are that negative they'd probably turn down the offer of a 1-0 win as they'll be that desperate for a 0-0. Nothing club, nothing manager, lets smack these cunts.

I think we are due a rampaging, no holds barred, free flowing footballing masterclass of performance as a little treat to wake the home support up.

We need an early goal and then a few more to show ourselves as top 4 contenders again.

Coutinho is the difference, when he plays well, we plays well.

                      Modifying post.

Tough game this - typical mid table clash (4 points currently separating 6th and 13th). If WBA win, they'll be a point behind us. Not confident of winning - we're just not good enough.
                        Another MASSIVE game

Yeah we need our so called superior players to step up with a touch of quality in these types of games, where teams will work as hard as and maybe harder than us at their plan of action.

                            We'll win.

Man Utd and Leicester to lose, Man City, Arsenal and Man City to win..

We're on 26 and only 7 behind the leaders!

Agreed. Unfortunately, Benteke and Firmino are two of our 'superior players' - and they have been very poor. £65m - **** me
