Yep, was really, really bad. Was expecting big things today aswell with the week off. Urgh.Originally posted by RichC View PostThey've been poor but giving 2 goals away like that you're always going to struggle especially with a lack of genuine firepower.
Worst half of the season for me

It's mental - everyone's panicking, no-one knows where their team mates are, they are rushing into passes and tackles without thinking. We are very fragile at the moment, probably a combination of factors in there. New manager, injuries, lack of a captain, bad pitch etc all carefully nourished and cultivated into an enormous cluster**** by giving away an abject early goal through a keeper ****up served with another defensive catastrophe straight after for dessert. None of them look like they want to be out there at the moment.Originally posted by jw54 View PostOK - not watching this- but is it ability or attitude? These are the same players that walked all over City and Chelsea but struggle against so called weaker teams.
Every season is like groundhog day.

Terrible goalkeeping to gift them an early goal but simple fact of the matter is we've dominated possession but with no strike threat whatsoever. Midfield has been bullied off the park for the second game in a row and we can't even do the simple things right at the moment - wayward passing and playing easy balls out of play. Hopefully Kloppy goes mental at half time and gets our mentality right for coming back out.

There have been large number of instances of playing the man with no intention of going for the ball. But thats indiciative of where the game is rather than this specific match.Originally posted by Vermilion View Post
I've been thinking that every time we play these 'smaller' sides.
But i put it down to us not doing well on the day and me being biased.
Far too many players making a living for being strong than actually being competent at kicking a ball.Football without Origi is nothing

I don't think we're still holding a candle there though. We're definitely ready to move on.

The last thing we needed was a bit of luck going there way & an early goal against a fresh keeper making his PL debut for us in a must win match. But now every player out there looks clueless as well. I should turn it off and get some sleep but Jurgy has converted me into a believer.
well for the next 15 mins I'll try to be.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Every one of them are afraid to make a mistake. They shouldn't be. They make them often enough you'd think they would be ****ing used to it!
Man for man, every one of them were better than us in the first half.

I'm so excited. And I just cant hide it. I'm about to loose control and I think I like it.
