[FAC] Exeter City (A): Post Match

    FT 2-2

Great cup game in many respects

Now the moan should not be "oh no! A replay all we need"

    Its

    "yay"!

Play the kids again - all of them next time.

Ojo was excellent when he came on, changed the game with his energy and pace - must start the replay along with Kent and Sinclair.

Teixeira was also very good in the first half before fading somewhat, Brannagan likewise, Smith very good at times,

Ilori was never going to be at his best having played no football for so long alongside Enrique, I'd not write him off.

Kevin Stewart who is a bit of a forgotten man was a tidy presence for the most part.

Decent game, nice to see the kids play. Some poor performances, some good performances. Think my motm was Brannagan.

Benteke didn't look out of place.

Good game, well done to Exeter they were great. I reckon we'll beat them with the kids in Anfield.

Thought Smith done great today, good engine, very lively & positive. Tex and Kent done well in the first first half. Think most of our players were lacking match fitness and looked exhausted in the second half.

Bogdan, Enrique & Benteke were ****ing ****e. Illori was average in the first half and shocking in the second IMO. Decent result all things considered.

That was a good game of football for the neutrals. Exeter deserved their draw and lets face it we did well to get through that. The pitch was awful but branagan and brad smith our best players today.

              Klopp

That interview closer was pure brilliant madness
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

                  Really enjoyed that.

When did Danny Murphy turn into Karl Pilkington?

Tough game, just a thrown together team with lads called back pretty much last minute.

                          Smith the stand out player.

Mignolet to play next game I can't see him needing a rest, Bogdan simply cannot be relied on even in games against League 2 sides.

Randall isn't going to make it I don't think.

The midfield was tough to judge, Stewart is a full back and did okay which makes me wonder why the actual CM youngsters didn't do a great deal more. Maybe it was just the conditions in there, they did okay I just wanted to see a bit more.

Benteke I felt actually did show in behind for the ball a few times today and it didn't come, he wasn't great but the service really wasn't there.

                            He's great. So refreshingly honest.

I thought Ilori got better as the game wore on. He needs games.
                              Are we winning?
