Just watched this after being out last night. Not sure why Enrique is getting a rough ride?

Apart from a ropey 10 minutes first half, I thought he was surprisingly assured which isn't something I would normally associate with him.

And given he has barely played and how heavy the pitch was, it was something of a miracle that he didn't end up in the same state as Ilori who I thought also did ok all things considered.

They all did OK given the circumstances. Patched up team, never played together and players out of fitness for most. Getting a draw in a competitive game like this is an achievement. Any bashing of players is harsh.
      Are we winning?

I'm glad others have commented on BBC coverage last night. Words fail me. I don't recall ever seeing a worse overall production. A shame because of the dynamics of the match and the occasion itself.
I love those types of games. A chance to see if any youngsters can emerge and make a name for themselves. Like Fowler against Fulham. I liked a lot of the performances. Kent looked lively. Ilori looked the part before fading. Brannagan impressed me. Smith the pick of the bunch for me.
Negatives were Bogdan. Should never play for us again. Hopeless. And Benteke. Again words fail me. Worst captains display ever.

Up yours Paddy (though as it happens the intern is right, Exeter players were no doubt hoping for an Allen shirt. )

Thinking back on the game you're right, Enrique offered the senior calmness from the back that Benteke did not offer up front. He didn't just give up thinking what's the point.
              One tit for another.

The pitch last night was a bit of a disaster.

This got me thinking a little. When Clubs in the PL and maybe the Championship are relaying their pitches the old playing surfaces should be offered to lower division clubs

                  3rd place. Worst champions ever.

The difference is not the top turf its the three feet of work that's underneath!

I know that you wazzock. But decent free turf would enable the clubs to do something to the 3 feet under or the 6 feet under in your case

Sunderland gave Exeter their old pitch from 1942

Never, ever allow yourself to be filmed as a bystander!
